AUTOMATE PULSE 2

My wife and I have a Pulse 2 that we had for years for our cloth privacy blinds that was great. Knowing that we would be going away for 6 months to Mexico we replaced them with metal roll down ( store front ones for safety reasons ). When we got back 1 of them didn’t work and I assumed it was the Rollease hub . After 1/2 hr Kirill figured out that we were using the wrong hub and even went so far as to look up the right one on line and the associated .app . We of course will need to speak to a different vendor but MAN what great customer service from Kirill ,, something that is no longer part of the service industry. When we had the Pulse Hub 2 it always worked and was amazing . I am not one to write reviews but Kirill went way above and beyond what he had to do. Thank You 😀

Had a problem with the initial unit. Sent it back to Automate and they sent me a new one very quickly. No issues with the replacement. Was not able to set it up on my own. Called support. Was on the phone with Kirill. He was tremendous and was able to walk me through the full set up. He also spent some time explaining all the fun stuff available to set up and the link to my Google Home app so that I can control the roller shades through voice control. Super service. Larry M.

At the price point of this system I would have expected a better app. The monitoring does not reflect the status of your shades. Poor signal at 10ft from your hub, really ?

This application is absolutely obsolete compared to OS. First, the connection to the Wi-Fi is tedious and when you finally get there, the app's menus. Are completely ineffective especially considering that the signal is always weak to non-existent. I felt like I was 20 years ago. Richard

I had issues getting all 11 blinds properly into HomeKit. HomeKit can be very finicky, like making sure everything is in the same Home on the app. The Automate app worked fine and with a bit of help from tech support, everything now works with Siri. Thank you Kirill.

Will work for a day or two, then random blinds will stop altogether, the app constantly shows it’s disconnected from the network, yet the blue light is on and is showing connected to the the 2.4ghz network when I log onto the modem. It will sometimes just remedy itself and other times I have to do a fresh install it’s extremely irritating when you ask Siri to raise the blinds and she’s tells you she can’t because they are offline. When it does work though it’s great. If only they could fix it to work all the time. 2023 Update: they now have been able to find a work around and I have successfully been able to add it to my HomeKit and get it working however the connection with the Pulse2 app is still hit or miss as most times it tells me the hub is not connected when it is.

I can’t pair any shades. I’m able to pair the hub to my app (and it appears on HomeKit). But when I go to the “add shade” flow, it asks me to pick the hub closest to the shade being paired. Except the list of hubs is empty. I tried this on both my iPad and iPhone. Please fix it - I can’t believe I spent money on this product that doesn’t even work.

Apps works well overall, but blinds don’t move at same time.

Fonctionne très bien avec IOS et Alexa. Traduction française à améliorer. Il y à une différence entre ouvert et ouvrir. Pour les minuteries ça fonctionne sans problème.

If your buying this kit to use with the iOS app, don’t! This app is totally useless. I waisted hours adjusting timers that just won’t work. It also doesn’t give you the level of battery left for the blind. This app is absolutely worthless. You should test your app before wasting people’s time. 2023-03-20
