Aviator Assistant: Weather EFB

Since I downloaded the app give me a lot information for my home study helicopter private pilot….I will recommend for my friends ….thx

Not sure why sometimes the weight and balance shows both the takeoff and landing weights and other times doesn’t. Landing weight is just as important as takeoff weight. Should be an update to include landing weight plot/table at all times. Otherwise super easy to use and connect to a compatible ADS-B device. Would also like to see ability to put in a VOR radial in the flight planner.

I have no particular issue with the app except that the developer makes it very difficult to cancel the subscription. I was a student pilot but due to a health issue I have had to give up flying lessons. So no further need for AA. If I go to the website and try to cancel it tells me to use the app. If I go to the iPad app there’s nothing that allows me to cancel. So now I will have to dispute (block) any further charges on the credit card, probably by closing the credit card number, which is a royal pain. Very poor business practice.

App was great when it worked but after a few days they force you to pay a subscription. Plenty of other apps have the same info for free. Way overpriced too.

Pointed out some issues to developers vis e-mail and trying to call. Not getting responses like we used to. They used to respond within a day or 2 but so fat it’s been over a week. No response. Looking online, support is not as accessible as they were at one time. Beginning to wonder what is happening. As a CFI I can not refer students to an app that support us hard to get to.

Have you tried Aviator Assistant—lately? Lots of upgrades and a GREAT intuitive feel. Stop spending a fortune with other companies that didn’t really earn your business. Aviator Assistant has become so awesome from actually listening to pilots, flight instructors, flight schools, and anyone that had valuable suggestions on what the general aviation industry needs. Have had Aviator Assistant for a couple of years now. You owe it to yourself to try it!

Took my iPhone battery from 95% to 25% in two hours while in the background. Several functions also freeze the iPhone. Not reliable.

Great support team and very well proced

Like the title says - don’t waste your time or money on this garbage.
