Still waiting the Apple Watch App! Any update about?
I love love love this app. It so helpful so I can keep my life together in the mornings and I don’t forget what to do and keeps everything straight for me! I love that I can add times of how long the action I’m doing will take, most apps I have to subscribe to a monthly subscription to even have more that one task but for this was it was free! I love love love! Download it!
I just downloaded this app to give it a try. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. One really thing that I found inconvenient is that once the set time for an event ends, the app automatically jumps to the next event, without the ability to go back. Sometimes I would spend longer than I would on one particular thing (and don’t necessarily remember/have the chance to hit “+1 min” or “+5 min”.) Then when I come back, the routine has been so ahead that I sometimes have to exit the entire routine to start over. It would be really nice if we have the option of going back to the previous event, or an option to not automatically jump to the next event (maybe show a countdown of negative time instead.)
This app is really helpful to get me up in the morning. I start school relatively early for me, and it’s hard for me to focus when I’m still pretty tired. This app has helped me be more efficient and independent, which is great because my mom is busy getting the rest of the house up and out the door in the morning. I loved the addition of the custom habits, because I do a lot of unique things you might not expect in a morning routine to get me functioning. The time-limited thing for your habits gets my competitive mind thinking that it’s a race, making me more motivated to get my things done faster. I have anxiety, and struggle with prioritizing and when one of my parents tries to keep me on task I get more anxious, because I get worried I’ll make them upset. This app completely removes that morning anxiety, because I won’t disappoint an app on my phone! Thank you so much, this has been so helpful for me! I just wish my mom would let me buy apps so I can have the full version to help me even more. I’m only in 7th grade so… yeah. But this app is amazing just as it is!
yeah it’s nice! just one problem u have to get premium to create multiple routines, and i’m only 12 + have a strict mom who definitely won’t pay for it so i got my morning routine done(which yay and wow that was easy to do) but i thought i could maybe sorta have a night routine as well. it’s alright though cuz there’s not much to do at night lol
This is almost exactly what I was looking for... the routine suggestions are nice, the aesthetics are good. But I wish it had an alarm clock to wake me up based on the recommended time to accomplish my morning routine. If it’s intended to help me to overcome my bad habit of not waking up in time for my morning routine, it shouldn’t depend on me to start it (I’m the problem, after all!). It should do the waking for me and automatically start the timer. Hope this feature comes with an update...
Cant believe a high school created this app it’s sleek and efficient! I’ve been wanting a small scale habit and morning routine tracker for awhile that doesn’t break the bank. I wish in the future there would be a web or Android version, as I love to support projects that are cross platform (and thus reliable). 5/5
I never write app reviews. Like ever. But I love this app that much. As someone who gets easily sidetracked, I enjoy the fact that there isn’t a pause button and this app KEEPS me on track. If I want to “pause” I can just add more time to the task I’m doing. But this app is PERFECT and I really didn’t have a need for more routines to add, but I paid for the app anyway because I want to support this app and the people behind it because it needs to NEVER LEAVE! Suggestions/updates I would love to see: 1. Apple Watch compatible (I think I saw this was maybe in the works already?) - just so you can see your timer and get an alert when the next task starts. 2. A banner on your notifications/Lock Screen (like where a regular timer pops up when you set it on your phone) that tells you what task you’re on and how much time is left for that task, so you don’t have to keep your phone open to see. I know notifications already pop up when tasks change, but I’ve found the timer is really what helps me. 3. I would LOVE to see a widget for this that I can put on my Home Screen that will allow me to swipe between routines I want to start and then just click “start routine” 4. I would also like to see what time my next task will start (maybe in parentheses next to it?) this is really insignificant because I could probably just do the math of how much time is left on the timer and go from there but it would be nice to have at a glance. 5. I noticed a lot of people seem to struggle with switching routines, and I seem to get caught up on it from time to time as well, maybe the ability to just “swipe” between routines, like pages? Thank you for being such an amazing app and keeping me on track!
i really love this app and the setup but i’m a bit confused, i don’t know if i am not doing it right or what. like can i switch the order or the tasks or do i have to retype everything in a different order?
Well, I downloaded this app and was smi satisfied with it’s design and concept. I had already came across “Routine provider” apps like this one… however, I like Awakee much better! You have three different tools to organise your day: Routines, Habits list and also a very general To do list for the day, which is fantastic since Awakee isn’t a “Task Manager!” You have to note down some bold and obvious things for the day and I think that’s grate! Although, I wanted to explore the app more before buying it, I tried to make another routine and for some reasons it opened the purchase order, straight away! And well, I had my finger on my home button, and just like that, the order was confirmed! I was shocked at first, but then… it was funny I’m not mad cause Awakee seems like to have a really bright future… I myself am a high school student as well, And I know how terribly hard it is to handle both school projects and your owns like Awakee for Jacob or my freaking scenarios waiting to be edited or updated-__- At least, you manage to actually get your Awakee working smoothly and useful for people! That’s something that deserves support! I would never regret that accident and well, I recommend you at least try Awakee for a few days… you probably gonna stick around just like me! Tnx and all the bests, Sara.
