App always crashes
App is painful to uses, crashes regularly on nearly every dice role. So infuriating.

I have owned and played axis allies on my steam account. I do enjoy the the game, but find with working away quiet a lot miss my turns. So i bought the mobile app as well to play onto my iPad. The problem i have is that i have built up my account on steam using my hotmail email as my main account. There is no way to use my main account with my iPad, only using my iCloud account. Hopefully the dev’s will sort out a fix so that i can you my Hotmail account on the iPad.
Difficult but winnable at least as the Axis. Realistic dice and really good fun
I’m loving this version of A&A, and I can assure readers that the iOS version is now very playable following the bug fixes. I play on an iPad and it gobbles my battery but otherwise runs smooth on high settings. Feature requests: * being able to edit non-combat moves during mobilisation would prevent some simple mistakes from ruining a game that has had a lot of time put into it * being able to continue games with the AI following a forfeit or standard victory (ie: to continue to world dom) would increase ability to practice and learn about later round play even if the result looks inevitable to the losing side who understandably won’t want to play it out. * some way of at least downloading the game stats from all rounds (income, power etc) — a chart showing how they change each round would be best. Maybe a stacked bar chart? * being able to switch sides mid game * landing/loading onto friendly carriers/transports
I am a long time fan of of axis and allies and think that the bored game is the best bored game I have ever played but this mobile version is good but not as good. The main things I find annoying are that you can’t place the plane in the country once you take it and that you can put a British soldier in an American transport and vice Versa. But overall it is a good game but expensive.
Bugs now fixed in iOS so happy to recommend.
Graphics are poor quality as the base map is very low resolution. The functionality of the UI is poor. Unable to recommend
Game literally just does not work - game starts then just a black screen, nothing happens
I’ve simply never managed to get the game to run in any mode, whether one player or tutorial. Shambles
4*s for the iPad version - the AI is a little “odd” sometimes (eg attacking India with fighters only - what’s that all about?) and often reacts to moves rather than preempts, but it’s a great tool for trying out new tactics for when you’re playing tournament games with people, or custom games with friends - both of which work really well in the app, as does pass & play if you’re all together but can’t set up a board. Interface works well once you’re used to it, even the transport pick up/drop off. Stability ok and reboots fast enough if it does get “confused”. However, 1* or less for the iPhone version - it just doesn’t work yet
