I seldomly write reviews but this one is the best wallpaper app for me.
Phone = griddle
Anyone else’s phone burns when using this app
Battery drain
I forgot to close the app and it drained about 15% of battery, by working in the background. Background app refresh is even turned off.
Now with more ads
Great app but version 5.0 has trashy fullscreen video ads and more paywalls than before. Please don’t ruin this app, I’ve been on this slippery slope before
Dumb update
Previously banner ads and occasional video ads after downloading a wallpaper, now you have to watch a video just to download a wallpaper. Much worse. Uninstalling
Love it
Nice update with bringing swipe down back but still needs improvement. First thing missing is the ability to tap the top to get back to the top when you’re scrolled down or the ability to tap explore button to get back. This is nitpicking but the loading circle could be cleaned up. Kinda looks out of place with it over the carousel. Lastly I hope wallpapers release more frequently cause I really want it to be worth getting pro. Update-I noticed when you go to the search there’s no way to get back out
Great for iPhone only
I love the wallpaper app and the wallpapers but almost all wallpapers is suitable for iPhone only. Resolution is not great with iPad or Mac.
Best App on my phone
For transparency I have paid for the ‘Pro’ version of the app. I have been using Backdrops for just over two years now and absolutely love it. The UI is incredibly intuitive and attractive to look at. There is a constant flow of new backgrounds added to the app on the free and community page which I greatly enjoy. I also love the ‘pro’ features of the app with the included ‘pro’ folders that I have access to for even more background content. I only wish there was a folder that included backgrounds for iPad and Mac screen sizes. I also have these devices and would love to see some iPhone backgrounds (especially the ‘Vector Views’ folder) have iPad and Mac sizing options. Other than that it’s a fantastic app! Highly recommend downloading and also recommend paying for the Pro version. This work deserves to be paid for.
Great for 4 years until NOW
I've had this app, paid for the PRO version since at least 2020 when i got the iphone 11 Pro...ALL OF A SUDDEN, they've created a new PREMIUM LEVEL of 4 categories previously part of the rest that COSTS $9.99...🤔🤔🤔 WHY? and if this is new, instead of a rude surprise, let us know, possibly even allow for options especially to those of us ALREADY subbing the PRO...I'm glad I had a few out of reach wallpapers saved prior...SMH
