Don’t ever play this app! The worst in the market, ever!

Heavily weighted to the computer. You will get fed up with the repeated computer double, especially in the last dozen rolls. Choose another app.

The computer always gets the roll it needs when it needs it. If the computer needs a 6 and 1 one, it’ll roll a 6 and a 1. I’ve had occurrences where I’ve been way ahead in a game and the computer will roll three or four doubles in a row to come back and beat me. Come on! That’s no fun. That would never happen in a real life game. For this reason I’d never buy an ad free version of this game.

The game cheats. Plain and simple.

But here, the Odds appear to be strongly in the Computer’s favour, Thus, a waste of time unless you enjoy losing & wasting your time !

Computer still gets way more doubles than it should. It wins almost all starting draws. If you accept a double, it rolls a double most of the time. The statistics page has many errors unfortunately, which should be very easy to fix. Sometimes, computer proposes to double even if it has no statistical chance of winning the game, thus « giving » you the tournament win, which is like giving up too soon… On the plus side, I like that publicity is only at the end of a game and that the playing graphics run very smoothly, as should be expected.

I bought an in-game purchase to remove banner ads. When I exited and came back into the game, they were still there. They hadn’t been removed permanently and they wanted me to buy it again. Rip-off

I agree with Snoop dog. Please be aware that the computer cheats. (Eg almost always rolls doubles after you accept a double, and rolls way more doubles than you do during the bearing off phase) But I keep playing this version because I like the looks and interface.

I have been playing backgammon for 35 years and the dice rolls are statistically impossibly in favour of the computer. Sometimes one does not care but after a while, it becomes a detractor to the whole spirit of the game to know that whatever strategy you use, the computer is programmed to win at any cost through incredibly lucky rolls. I have deleted this game because it is not a game but some sick form of personal distress created by people who are allergic to fun.
