Could do with a 2 player opposite mode to play opposite each other like real backgammon. Also a double tap to peel off. No online play mode. Otherwise a good app.

The computer cheats when playing 1 on 1 so I’m losing interest

This app is very very well designed with excellent graphics. It’s definitely the best designed backgammon app you can find in the apple store. However the developer does not allow the dice to roll based on randomness but instead the dice roll always cheat to win the game when it needs to. You can almost guess what the dice roll will be everytime. If the developer changes the dice roll to be random then this app will be by far the best one in the store.

Always liked the game but preferred former format.

I liked the appearance before this latest upgrade. Also I noted that it appears that when one is winning, the computer throws several doubles, so suspect it is not always random.

Previous colours very much better. Please go back.

Needs a forfeit button instead of having to finish a losing game

Our experience of this app is that it’s programming is biased and that at the so called higher level the odds of a fair and balanced game low. Disappointed and would like a refund

Totally rigged at higher levels. When playing the computer my roll to start and return to the board rolls are way outside mathematical chance. It could be a great game but this is silly and unnecessary.

Dreadfully poor strategic moves by the computer, particularly when the player is moving pieces from home into their final base and the computer has many pieces still to get into it’s home from a gammon setting but chooses to set up it’s home number spaces blocking instead!
