I think this app is broken. I downloaded in hopes of finding a drummer for our band, and I found a few people on the app in my area, but every time I send a message to someone… nothing happens. The app doesn’t show that any message was sent, even when I go to my inbox and select “sent messages”, nothing is listed there. The first message I received upon downloading the app is from the founder, Stefan, and the automated message literally says, “Please don’t hesitate to message me back if you encounter any problems with BandFriend.” So I sent a message to Stefan explaining my problem. This time the app actually showed that I sent a message. A couple days later I got a response from Stefan… but it was an automated response asking me to rate the app, haha. And that link didn’t even work! Anyway, I like the app, wish it worked, but it doesn’t.

Only thing I would suggest is to raise the character count for the bio section. Whatever the max character count is now is way too low. But other than that it’s a great app.

I am a working gigging Drummer in DFW and have used this multiple times to find members for projects or just to fill-in gigs, I like that the platform is free and I don’t have to pay to talk to other musicians!! great platform I’m glad to be on it in the early stages. Can’t wait to see what they do with it and hopefully they just continues to grow.

I tried using this app to meet other musicians to start a band and instead had 4 separate people contact me in an attempt to scam me. DO NOT USE THIS APP.
