Banish - Block 'Open in App'

This app doesn't block the banners as it says. Useless. I wish the App Store would implement a refund policy for apps that just do not work.

Checked reddit, amazon -> Both show the “open with bla bla”. That is why I bought this app in app store slightly more expensive than US of A’s app store. I will ask for a refund. Much disappointed haha lol

I purchased and installed banish the moment I found out about it. It solves a problem which had been degrading my experience using web apps on Safari. It simply does what it says and Alex updates the app regularly making it even better. Loves it! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to surf the web with peace of mind!

It still does that, but as of a few weeks ago, it’s started locking up the screen so that you can’t scroll down on Reddit unless you zoom in so that the page doesn’t fit the screen anymore. It’s made the app essentially unusable, and I’ve had to disable it and deal with the Reddit pop-up. Please update the app to address this issue!

Even after you’ve updated the app it’s still breaking Reddit.com for me. It’s ok, I’ve given up trying to make this app work for me and will leave uninstalled.

Downloaded the app to avoid issues with Facebook, Yelp, Google, and LinkedIn. On the rare chance the app actually blocked anything, it would make the webpage completely empty and unreadable. After trying to make it work for an hour, I accepted that the app simply does not work, but turns out you cannot even request a same-day refund for this unusable product. Highly recommend that others look elsewhere for a solution, as if the company truly believed the product worked, they’d offer at the bare minimum same-day refunds.

Thank you for fixing the Google aspect. This app appears to work again on Google. Unfortunately this app seems to break Reddit. Scrolling through Reddit and clicking on links does not work.

I found this app while searching for a way to make searching the internet less annoying and more efficient. I am so glad that I paid the very reasonable fee for this app. It has delivered exactly what it advertised with extremely easy set up. Great app, I highly recommend it.
