Bank of Sydney Mobile Banking

This is one of the worst banking apps I’ve had to use. It’s so far behind the technology of other apps . Would be so helpful to have Face ID or atleast a code to log in. Very limited functions once using the app. Time to get with the times , BOS

This is the worst banking app I have ever used. Very buggy

One can perform all basic financial task in the app however nowhere close to top banks app. Missing NPP feature

App is simple and functional - thanks also for the low interest rates you guys offer, keep up the good work

Of course it’s not an app but an internet banking log in. That what they made from bank of Sydney. It’s very easy to use it and very helpful. Many options and secure. The “app” needs to be fixed a bit better but in generally is good.

I emailed BOS to highlight my issues with the app: - always crashing - taking far too long to load login - not getting transaction receipts because app crashes on transfer - needing to reload a few times before I even get in to the app. The response I received, was “ This is the first time we have been informed of such an incident”. Needless to say I’ve emailed them back screenshots of these poor reviews and pretty much told them to pull their finger out and fix the app.

Like others reviewing this app, I’ve left a ‘Big Bank’ to join Bank of Sydney. However, as customers we need more than just good interest rates. The BOS banking app is a poor substitute for those associated with bigger banks. Easy, intuitive functionality is critical if an online banking app is to be useful, and sadly your current app lacks this. Your customers are increasingly going to rely on your online platforms, so please make the investment in a GOOD app.

Really old interface, small text size, not intuitive, difficult to find stuff. App needs update.

I recently switched from a big bank to BoS to take advantage of the interest rate on a transaction account. However, I'm conscious that I've left behind a lot of really useful features. For example basics like fingerprint authentication to login to the app, quick glance to show balances and recent transactions without having to login at all, and the feature I miss most of all – the ability to withdraw cash using the app without my debit card. These sound like bells and whistles, but when you come to rely upon mobile and digital banking they become a must and mean a great deal in terms of overall satisfaction. I really hope BoS are able to introduce some of these features, which seem to be provided by most if not all of the five or six other institutions I also bank with.

This app has some serious problems for iPhones. Always crashes and does not let you log in... terrible
