Great, great game.

Fell in love with this game from the start, the art, the world building, the strategy, it’s all there and anyone whose interested should most definitely purchase this extraordinary game.

This is better than the first game largely thanks to a little more depth to the combat. One thing that irks me is the market and levelling, there’s lots of items, stats and perks and not enough ‘in game’ battle time to fully explore all the options, it feels like you can get maybe 1 or 2 characters to level 7 or 8 if you are buying supplies too. Otherwise it’s worth a download as an interactive story... I don’t feel the need to replay it though.

If you love tactical rpgs with gorgeous art, brilliant story, deep mechanics, and a soundtrack that will stay with you pick this up. Play the first one if you can, definitely worth getting the full experience. Recommended if you like Final fantasy Final fantasy tactics Dungeons and dragons Skyrim Dragon age

Great game follows from the amazing first saga with all the characters you come to know and care for continuing their journey along with some new ones. Same style and battle system with a few new abilities and enemies. I would have given five stars except I occasionally had a glitch which locked the scrolling ability in battle on iPhone or the screen changed to text and code meaning I had to reset sometimes a few times before it would work normally. Great cut scenes and story, music is atmospheric. Worth paying for this game I can see myself playing over again a few times

As a sufferer from dyslexia the banner saga games have helped me improve my reading but get very tiresome sometimes. Love the stories and characters, the way you interact with the game is great. Over all I love it, the art work is stunning to 4.5/5. Would love to see a option to add character dialogue to be read out (I understand that time and money to do that) but do stoic feel that’s a opinion for the future or will it take away impacts for the game.

Great game, beautiful story with a wonderful element of sadness, endless replay value and a most haunting score. Hats off to a great team of developers. I’m awaiting an IPad port of Banner Saga 3 with bated breath.

I am thinking whether I should buy Nintendo Switch version. Could you please tell me if I can transfer the save from cloud to Nintendo Switch? Thanks.

Fascinating game with plot twists and multiple threads that keeps the interest going.

Such a brilliant game. Amazing art, great story, the game play is outstanding, it’s challenging and tactical. It is probably the best turn based strategy game in the App Store. The only thing is, I keep wanting more! Make more please. It’s my favourite game on my phone. One complaint is that there are limited strong female characters, which can make it particularly hard to get the all females achievement in survival mode. Alette, Oddlief and Folka are awesome. But Zefr is very weak, none of her spells can damage. It lacks female fighters, which is unusual because ancient vikings did have strong female warriors known as shield maidens.
