Great, but beggars can’t be choosers I guess, so for now I’m just putting it 50/50 since idk how good or bad it is since I apparently don’t meet the age requirements as at the time I’m writing this I am currently 14 years old T~T

I tried to get this app for my son so he could connect with other furrys! and he couldn’t use it it says 12+ my son is 12 and it says on the app you have to be 16+ it lied to us

I tried to login and it says my account was deleted by cron. I’m trying to find a relationship and this doesn’t help at all thank you very much.

Depending on where you live, especially if rural, there will likely not be many users in your area. In cities there will probably be less of a problem. If I had to suggest anything I’d say some sort of global chat would be a nice addition. Overall a great concept and works pretty well, with only occasional blips.

The idea of this app is good it lets you see furs around you with relative ease. But that’s about where it ends with the ease, the app is buggy and is constantly crashing when doing the simplest tasks like attempting to open up the camera Oh and good luck seeing anything 18+ because you have to go to the absolutely abysmal website that doesn’t work on mobile (mind you this is a mobile app) and select that you’d like to see 18+ content Forget having it in the app as something easily accessible because “ease of access” and “Barq” do not go together in the same sentence There’s also no way to remove chats once you have them they’re just stuck there forever so sorry if you had a bad interaction with a creep it’s stuck there for eternity Honestly if you want a good app to socialize with furries just get Grokio and create a Ferzu account it’s much better put together I wish this app would work but it just doesn’t check any of the boxes that other apps do 1/5

You make an app about socializing and then you make it so people have to wait a week before they can see each other’s telegram. Why? I am at the three day point and I’m already ready to just give up and delete this app because I don’t want to wait three more days to see the Telegram of someone I want to communicate with.This is the dumbest idea anybody has ever thought up. No it is the stupidest dumbest craziest idiotic idea ever.

I seen a known pedo on the app and when I reported it to barq they told me there is nothing wrong with this profile So parents Stay away from this app (If you have this app stay away from: “Chief Derg”)

I’m currently under age and when I downloaded the app I was excited to make some new, local furry friends. But as I was on it longer, I realized it’s so unsafe for minors. I had the app for about a couple days until adults began to message me. They would send me unsolicited nudes even after I told them I was a minor. They eventually asked and asked until they just stopped responding. I will say there was one person that I still continue to talk to thankfully but other than that the only memories I will have of this app are getting groomed and harassed by closeted pedophiles, or the least perverts. This is a message to the developers and everyone working on this app to please reconsider the way you go about this. As a young fur, I want to feel safe around my fellow furs, but this entire part of my life has shook me to my core on how unsafe it is. I wish it was better, and I wish I could trust others in this community, but there is no real way to be able to monitor and to avoid child grooming on this app. You could raise the age limit but based on how easy it is to change it, I don’t think it would do much. I take my share of faint in this, but I can assure you, 100% that this will continue to happen and is happening to hundreds if not thousands to other minors. I am so very grateful of what the team is trying to accomplish, and I’m so glad I found friends, but it’s too dangerous. I hope that you guys figure out what to do and I hope that one day I’m proud to be part of the furry fandom. Thank you again for trying to do something that would benefit and help others become closer and believing in the impossible. I hope I can build the courage to br able to redownload this amazing idea. Won’t let me sign in at all not through telegram or email or just any of the options.

I picked up this app after Howlr died but there isn’t enough security to prevent bots from grabbing my personal information. I keep getting scammers contacting me on telegram using my information from barq saying specifically they found me from here. Along with that issue it has glitches with notifications. I’d say it’s good for finding out we’re people are location wise from you but using this to get people to message you is impossible I recommend just joining a local furry group on telegram.
