Gives wrong information on attached devices
Doesn’t connected to all my devices, mouse, keyboard etc, also tried to get a refund right after buying it and it says I’m not eligible even though advertised as refunded eligible within 14 days
The app will say “updated 5 seconds ago” but that just means the screen was updated. The information it’s showing me is often/usually hours old. Unless you have a complication on the watch active on your current face, or a widget on an i(Pad)OS recently displayed the data ends up not being updated. My guess is Apple just does not let the apps regularly update the information in the background often enough. It doesn’t save me any time if I have to go to each device to get it to update. The convenience is lost.
Make sure you install and open in each device and you are good to go. I use it on my watch, phone and new Macbook air.
I read the comments and made the widget and did the complications and it still doesnt work
Esthetically unpleasing (sizes of devices are vastly different), updates from my mac stopped some time back, dev changes the app a lot frequently but this introduces new functional and / or esthetic issues. Unhappy
Nothing worse than having a dead battery, than thinking you have sufficient battery and realizing the meter is wrong. I would not buy this. My watch and phone have been sitting at 1% and 62% and the Battery Monitor 2.0 is showing them as 92% and 100%. One word summary: Useless. (I don't want to waste any of your time like this app will) This is a joke- I've done everything the instructions tell you to do. And if there is any remote posibiity of an the app being wrong to gauge this (whether user error or not) it's a deal breaker. I guess keep my $5 dollars - not worth trying to get it back. The hassle time lost trying to get it to work is enough.
Seriously, why is a small developer doing a better job with this? This helps me keep my Mac and iDevices all synced
This app starts off amazing. You see all your devices and lo and behold you see their battery/charge status. But after time you realize that it doesn't update in real time, and then only does so after you open the battery app (again) on your other devices, which is sort of ridiculous. Developer is also not being truthful about a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days. You are NOT able to do so via the "Report a Problem" process the developer instructs you to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Good job, but rather simplistic. It’s fantastic to be able to see my iPad Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and Apple Watch batteries in one app. But there are a few reasons I gave it a lower rating: Most importantly, the app initially doesn’t recognize all devices. The developer responded in my first review that you have to open the app on each device for it to show up. But that should be clearly stated in the instructions, and it is not there. The app does not recognize AirPods Pro, and cannot give you the battery status. The Apple Watch complication is OK, but only shows my iPad status unless I click on it. There is no way to re-order the devices so that my Apple Watch is the default widget view on the watchface. Developer claims features such as changing device icons, but there is no menu option to allow it. Not sure why Apple couldn’t do something like this. Definitely needs clearer instructions. It’s a very simple program, and should be able to connect all these devices into one app.
