BBC Maestro

This is a disgrace. I will be writing to my MP to ensure this is properly looked in to.

When you already pay for a tv licence why is the bbc charging over £100 for a year subscription to this? This could be a really good idea but I can’t believe they’re really charging for this. There’s so much free information out there. Shame on them for being so greedy

The courses are good. I find the app frustrating. I’d like the option to listen to the courses as podcasts with the videos. I can listen with my phone screen off, but I then to go back to the app to move onto the next lesson in the series. It would be much better if lessons moved on automatically.

Just listened to a terrible, ridiculous speaker/host lecture, currently regretting subscribing (doubt this ‘requested’ review will be punished but hey ho!)

I got this app because I saw an advert for the influence course (Evy P). Even for this course alone, the entire app is worth it! The presenter is excellent and the content; role plays are great and I'm learning so much while enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing some of the other courses over time too.

No warning about the actual cost to use this app, until after you have created an account.

What’s not made clear within the App Store is the £120 per annum fee for using the app. Be sure to browse the limited catalogue before use.

I've just signed up to the BBC Maestro annual subscription and I think some of the lessons will be good. The main thing I'm finding really distracting is the camera angles keep changing. Why can't they just keep a forward facing camera angle when the person is speaking?? One minute they are facing you, the next they are looking slightly off camera, and then the next you are seeing a side profile of the person. It completely takes away the ability to connect with the person giving the lecture/talk. It's very off-putting. It's like they are filming a talk/chat show but there is only ever one person on screen, so you just end up thinking 'who are they meant to be talking to/looking at?'. It's just weird.

Really happy with the content and diversity of topics covered.

Have enjoyed several courses and picked up Lots of great tips .
