Beach Crew

The Keep Keith County Beautiful Beach Crew App allows volunteers to participate in self-cleanups as well as community cleanups. It helps KKCB understand the location, time tracked, and trash collected to optimize volunteer opportunities, so KKCB can continue and grow its programs to keep Keith County a clean, green, beautiful place to live, play and work.
KKCB says, “The app is for the community. It will allow visitors and locals to lend a helping hand by donating their time. Since time is valuable, the app implements a user interface system in which volunteers earn rewards, receive gifts, and have special offers at local businesses. The swag includes bumper stickers, t-shirts, hats, and more.

Keep Keith County Beautiful is the premier educational organization in Western Nebraska for litter reduction, recycling, and environmental sustainability. It is our mission to engage our youth, educate our students and community and prepare our citizens for leadership in litter reduction and recycling. We are proud to have been awarded 4 national awards and numerous state awards for leadership in environmentalism. Supported by the Keith County Community Fund, Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy, and the Nebraska Environmental Trust, the KKCB leads western Nebraska in program development for residents and guests to the state’s second-largest tourist attraction, Lake McConaughy.
