Pretty simple and useful app thanks team
Simple and easy to use , very useful. would be great if you can read thermocouples on a phidgetTo chart out how roasts develop.

I reviewed this app a few months back and gave it 1 star because I read about a roasting timer but didn’t find it at first. I was using it to keep track of my roasts and bean quantities and entering all my events ( charge, TP, DE, FC, FCE, SC, SCE, and drop) by hand. I finally hit the timer title and the timer opened. If the App description had noted that… so, now I use it during my roast and it helps me keep time tracking to the second. Better than any regular timer. I describe the whole profile of each roast down to Roater used, Heat level, fan level changes, events and as much data as I can to be able to come back at repeat the roasts. All in all I’m happy with the app. It would be great if it could use the timer times to determine development % but I have fun calculating that too.
Need to access clock/timer etc for real time use. Otherwise this is a small step above pencil and notebook.
Found this app very useful and easy to use. The time selection took a bit getting used but once figured out was easy. For different batches of coffees from same producer-estate I simply add a letter or number. Would be nice if there was a sorting function, and sometimes mistakes on weight entry are not corrected on the inventory weight when corrected in the roast tab. Wouldn’t mind a for fee version to get rid of adds. I have found timer functions on other apps are inconvenient and don’t care for it in the app.
PLEASE fix the issues with the in app timer. It’s virtually unusable as it stands and has ruined my tracking of many roasts at this point. PS (this is nitpicking) if it’s possible to reverse the automated order of the “bean selection” (or have beans with zero stock disappear as options) when you choose a new bean to roast, it would be far more intuitive. Feels silly that I have scroll through my entire history of beans (including depleted stocks) before I get to my latest purchase/roast every time. I know deleting them would be a workaround but that seems to defy the purpose of the app. If these things were resolved it’d be perfect!!
Solid app for basic data tracking. As others have mentioned, it would be great to have the ability to export data to excel to save/review. Otherwise it’s a good app that provides the basics for what I need! Thanks!
This app is everything I needed… then I was tripping because the roast time didn’t seem right. Turns out the timer freaking stops if you leave the app or even let the screen go to sleep. I know Apple is stupid about background usage but there’s gotta be a workaround here… kills the whole point of the app. Bummer.
This app is actually pretty close to being really good. It allows me to add green beans to inventory and log roasts which automatically deduct from the inventory. Where this app really falls short is the lack of ability to sync with other devices. A cloud storage method would be great. It could sync data to a Dropbox/One-Drive/iCloud folder and then any device could sync to the data file. Additionally, the Name and Supplier fields could have drop downs that preserve previous entries, and Fields could be added for grower/processing method could be added. Another nice feature would be to have multiple coffees added to a roast. Currently only o e origin can be added. I often do blends of two or more origins in a single roast, but I can’t add more than one origin to the roast. An equipment profile section would be useful to help remind me which roaster I used during a roast.
I’ve just use this one time but it has all the features I wanted and it’s easy to use. Seems like a good, well-thought-out app.
If only looking for a app to track inventory then this is good. Otherwise, the notes are quite basic if you desire to replicate the process. App should include options to add 1/2 Crack start time + temperature as well a drop time & temp, plus a cooling time. All these variables affect final coffee roast flavor. To be fair, there is a large text box for notes, but it would be innefficient to try and jot down all this info, then type it into the app post roast session. Add these options to the roast page and you would have a fantastic app. For now, I’ll continue to log my roasts by hand using my roast notes template that has these features.
