Everything is fine!
I like the app and the sensor it’s easy to set. The smart alarm is working properly, despite some comments I saw below. You got to have the phone not in silence and the volume up otherwise is not going to work!!!

It worked for a few months but doesn’t now. The troubleshooting snd faq don’t help. Have to switch on.
I like the information it gives. It works well. However, if you also want to listen to White Noise at night or a relaxation audio, it will bring down the volume by more than half. I haven’t found Anyway around that. I understand that is it is trying to listen for snoring, but I should be able to turn that off. After I have told beddit that I am up, it was still mute the sound of other apps for a few minutes.
I’ve had Beddit for about 2 years now. It used to work pretty well and the results were fairly accurate. I use it now and the smart alarm doesn’t work. The heart rate monitor no longer works. To be honest I think from the moment I press ‘Sleep’ and ‘I’m Up’ (the next day), any old results are recorded and not the true sleep pattern. The reason I say this is because I can be awake watching TV before bed and it shows this as sleep. I can get up and go to the toilet 2-3 minutes and this isn’t shown as ‘awake’ or ‘out of bed’. How can we trust the rest of it? Big thumbs down don’t waste your money!
For a now apple owned product the claimed integration with Health app is poor. Data sporadically transfers have tried deleting and reinstalling but issue always reoccurs.
I bought this as a replacement for the Jawbone up.it gives good information and well laid out. Just wish the notes would display in the trends section.
I’ve been using Beddit for a few years now and the biggest issue I have is that the App update does not fix the issues identified by the users: 1) The App does not sync with Health. Try all the sensible things (delete app and start afresh, delete account and start a fresh, restart devices, get new Beddit monitor...etc) nothing fixes it. 2) The Smart measurement overrides ALL Bluetooth. It is like the Ring that rules them all. It will override any other Bluetooth headphones or speakers. There seems to be no way round this. You have to disable Smart measure and turn it back on before you sleep which kind of defeats the objective. The final point is not just for Beddit but for many sleep monitors out there. Which is “what are you supposed to do with the data?” Once you establish your sleep patterns, learned what helps you sleep better and what prevents it there isn’t a whole lot you can do with the data. It would be nice to see something innovative and interesting in this space.
Since Apple bought Beddit, the whole thing has started to go crazy. Why not just integrate it into bedtime clock.
Hope Apple keep developing it. The auto sensing could work a bit better. The support from Apple has been good so far.
This release, supporting the X, has screwed the auto detect feature which was working well. Since being taken over by Apple, the support has been nonexistent and it was very good previously. I would have expected better from paying the Apple tax.
