Use to Be Good - Locking User Out If They Don’t Pay

The app recently got a complete overhaul in which they have locked out 99% of users on a waitlist. The app use to be wonderful and really helped me on multiple occasions. The layout was clean, simple, and easy to navigate and I felt there was a lot of content to explore. I found the therapies were helpful because they were so specific. Now, the company has launched its “mapping” system. I completely understand slowly rolling out a new feature to your users and offering to pay to get in. This is just a beta and it’s a normal business strategy. However, the company has instead chosen to lock out any user who doesn’t pay to leave the “waitlist”. I had thought this waitlist would be a separate thing, however you cannot access the app in its entirety. You would think they would be able to allow you to access the app’s old content while allowing some people the new features, but no. They chose to spit in the face of longtime users. And FYI, it’s interesting that there are so few reviews for a popular app. Especially when I remember there use to be more. Almost as if the reviews are “disappearing”… 🤔 Plus, the new app icon is very obnoxious. I hope you take your user’s comments into account and fix this mess. I thought the old version was amazing, and I’m disappointed to see how it’s ended up…

I suffered from postnatal depression after my delivery & being sailed me through. Firstly the calm music makes you feel that it’s just made for you! A journal where I could write my thoughts. It curated map for me where I could know my discomforts and work upon them. Thank you being :) for taking care of me when no one did ♥️
