Many thanks base on science.
I like the app, but it’s disappointing that I’m paying for an annual subscription and now the home screen widget (the feature I use the most) doesn’t work because the developer doesn’t seem to be making any updates to the app anymore. Not sure what I am paying for?
I like that this habit tracker has nagging alerts but the interface is not very intuitive. The stats does not seem to work I used this for a month and still not statistics. Not worth the 4.99 right now will check on it to see how it develops.
I love how the app is very simple and straightforward about settling and maintaining goals! It hones in on the fundamentals of habits and helps you see your progress. It even lets you do a repeating habit multiple times a day, like drinking multiple bottles of water.
Awesome
I like the app but I can’t figure out how to do simple things like delete a habit.
I’ve tried literally every habit tracking app in the App Store & this is a complete flexx 💪🏼 on all of them. Building a habit is more than just a consecutive streak for 30 days. A real true habit that is automatic to us often takes 90 days tbh so that’s why I love the way the app takes this into account. The only suggestion I can think of is maybe in the area where there are pre-listed habits, to add researched tips on how to best incorporate them. Tips like habit stacking sequences, cues/triggers, significance of environment, peer group, etc. For example if you want to work out daily suggest making new friends who live the gym fitness lifestyle or the daily guitar practice gives specific tip like making sure you have obvious alignment & eliminate friction by placing guitar in the center of the room. It’s really a great app I was kinda shocked how good I put this on the first page of my phone screen - that’s prime real estate ok 😂 👌🏼
I’ve been a premium user for over a year now. There’s no doubt about it: its application of Nag Reminders to continuously push you to complete a habit for that day is brilliant. I’m astonished that no other habit app has adopted this feature because it makes a huge difference, especially given how easy it is to ignore a single reminder these days. Where this app falls short though is in staying updated. 1) How can you call yourself a serious habits app when you DON’T have an Apple Watch version? Or a Web App version? This makes it difficult for me to quickly check off my habits when I’m working at my Mac, for example, and my phone is on silent. As a professional, this is a frequent experience. 2) The last update was A YEAR AGO. I don’t understand how you can expect users to trust you when you are barely ensuring the app is optimized for the latest iOS. Because of this I have had to end my subscription and delete Better Habits.
I work third shift so half way though my day it starts a new day. I would like there to be an option to be available for third shift workers. I work from 8pm to 8 am so for those that don’t work third shift that’s like the app resetting at 12 pm. I bought a years subscription but I don’t know if it was the. Best choice as I’ve forced to get stuff done in half the time everyone else is.
I thought I had a good handle on keeping up with my habits...Until I started tracking them with this app. Now, I’m able to keep myself accountable throughout the day, and keep track!
