Bevel: Health & Performance

Athlytic is fine. But Bevel has a fresh energy that is invigorating. Clean designs, customizable, and an insanely responsive social media presence make a big difference. The stress and energy comparison is great, and the customizable tracking and journal feature lets me compare my stats with any criteria I choose. Very helpful.

I’ve liked the feedback on my sleep and enjoying the app so far! I’ve only used it for a month but I like knowing about my recovery during sleep. I would love to see an option when it asks about what happened last night? The options are late meal or phone in bed. Can we add newborn, kids, etc? Mom of 3 plus a 5 month old. My sleep will get better someday! 🙃

The app has a lot of potential but at $50 per year, I expected more frequent updates with new features. I don’t see myself paying for another year.

As an early adopter I got access to a special ‘early adopter’ app icon and an overpriced perpetual subscription. Without a subscription the app is useless. There are numerous solid alternatives for much less cost.

I’ve been wishing for a comprehensive health app that takes a deep dive into my health data and gives me actionable recommendations. I’ve been using Bevel for a few months and I think I’ve find the one! It gives me a much deeper understanding of my stress, recovery, and sleep patterns. It lets me know when I need more sleep or if I need to take it easy when my body needs a recovery day. Keep up the good work! I also appreciate that they seem to take privacy seriously and I hope this continues to be the case!

This may be a little impromptu but seeing their privacy policy and terms of service pages hosted via the Craft.do documents apps was an immediate NO….a blog style template from a “full service” company just screams half-baked. Can’t recommend any company that uses the same type of services akin to mommy blogs and MySpace

I was originally introduced to this app a few months ago as a beta tester. I have been using it daily since then and always make it my go-to app when I wake up in the morning. I have used competitor apps in the past, and this one is way easier to understand and has a clean look. I love that it syncs with Apple Health and doesn’t need to store information on external servers. This app is new and growing quickly. So checkout their website to get a peek at what’s coming. The monthly fee is a bit more than competitors, but the annual fee is worth it! They developers are very active on Reddit.

Why are the heart rate zones in Bevel way off from Apple Fitness app ?

To preempt my new years resolutions, I decided try out using the Apple watch again towards the end of 2024 after more than a 1 seeing if I could get back into better sleep habits and a regular exercise routine. After reading some reddit posts on Bevel, I gave the trial a try to see if I could gamify my sleep and strain scores. I am now a daily user of the app with the annual subscription, and would like to see even more features beyond sleep and strain tracking. While I don’t get much utility from the battery score, I’d love to use the journaling feature even more than I already do. It would be great if it integrated it with food calorie/macro tracking and possibly glucose tracking as well as fasting in the future :) All in all a great app so far. Would love to try the Beta.
