This is the best app it reads for you and easy to understand. If you have been trying to get in the word but don’t want to read just download the app. It’s great for me on the hour drive to work every morning

I love the ability to create playlists out of specific passages. A major problem I’m having is that I can’t add verses from certain books. For example, when I attempt to add a passage from 1 Corinthians 12 to an existing playlist, pressing the plus button from the menu does nothing. But it works in other books like normal. What would be great is to have the ability to add passages while editing the playlist, rather than having to navigate the app to each individual passage to add them. Hope to see the issue fixed soon!

Beautiful dramatized and non dramatized audio reading of the Scriptures. I listen to Bible.is everyday. It has greatly impacted my relationship with God and His word.

Love the audio ESV. The different voices make it so much easier to follow the stories

I like the dramatization for use in my middle school classroom. However, sometimes the voices are overly dramatized and grossly inaccurate, distracting from the message. The worst depictions are Satan and Jesus’ disciples. Satan and the demons sound Hollywood demonic. If they truly sounded like that, nobody would be tempted by them - especially not Jesus. Also, the disciples sound really old, especially Peter who sounds like he’s pushing 100. The disciples were young men - teens, early twenties. I would give this five stars if the so many of the voices weren’t so bad.
