Slow!
I really enjoy the BAR app & digital edition. I subscribed about a month ago. Lately, though, it has become very slow to load back issues for me to read on my iPad 2. Is there any reason for this? Is there a fix? Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars!

Excellent journal for the biblically interested.
Having finished my DPhil in Old Testament Theology this journal was top of the list to keep my hand in.

Excellent coverage of the issues
Great content, terrible app
The app is basically unusable. After zooming in, if you try to scroll to another part of the page, it zooms back out. Everything is jerky and slow, even on a current iPad Pro. Avoid the app until they get the ui fixed.
Unusable
Don’t waste your time downloading this app. I can’t get it to work with ANYTHING. I am a digital subscriber to BAR but if I can’t use this app to access the magazine and library, what is the point of subscribing?
Articles not formatted for iPhone screens
This app just takes the print layout and digitizes it. You need to zoom and pan to read anything.
Does not load. Don’t buy…
After years of being a loyal subscriber, and trying to go digital with this app, it is terrible. Does not load, can’t zoom to read, or even go to the next page. nor is printing and option. Save your money….avoid.
Not able to update password
I do not recommend this app, and that does not concern its contents. The problem is that the app settings give you no way of updating or resetting your password, if you forget it. Since I forgot my password to access the app, it has been nearly two years since I am not able to read the magazine. The website does not help either. This is the only app that does not allow you to reset a password when it is forgotten. I will let the subscription run out and will not renew it. I have been wasting my money.
Cannot find Downloaded magazines
So I finally subscribed to the digital subscription. I love the archive section and being able to view any magazines at a click of a button. Unfortunately when I click on the downward arrow to download the article, the article clearly showing the download process but can’t seen to find it anywhere on my iPad Pro. After contacting Apple support they suggested to reach out the developer and resolve the issue directly with them. So is anyone else experiencing downloading issue such as not knowing where the downloaded files reside?
Terrible
Logged in fine, but when I try to access any sort of function it takes me to an instruction screen that will not close no matter what I tap. Impossible to read the magazine. I feel I got scammed
