Bike Baron 2

Great game but the global rankings and daily/weekly/monthly challenges have disappeared since the update to iPad OS 16.6.

I love the game and think it was worth the money, but you can’t create your own levels?!? One of my favorite parts to bike baron is that you can create levels. So please add a ‘create your own level’ feature to the game.

Edit: Performance issues are no more - everything is running smoother and more consistently now. I am enjoying the levels so far, there’s already been a couple added since I started playing. The weekly / daily challenges are a nice touch. I did have some performance issues at first (iPhone XR), but that seems to have gotten better over the last week!

This is how you hurt a legacy game. The first iteration was a gem, so much fun to play - an ease and pleasingly time wasting game….. however, number 2 is, well number 2. It’s far, far to difficult and not worth my time. TBH I’d buy stars to progress more but, and this is sooooo surprising, none are available to buy……..still - it’s worse than meh.

Great game so far, and loving that there is a sequel to the original! Few things that I think should be added however, such as making your own levels and character changing, along with the amount of checkpoints in a level! Apart from that, love it all

So far, this is seeming like a great sequel to Bike Baron and a really fun game, especially with the new environments. Sure there aren’t the crazy insane amount of levels (yet) that the first game had, but hopefully there’ll be added over time. Just some things I’m surprised aren’t in the game and would nice if they were added: 1.) In gameplay, a button to be able to go right back to the very start of the level (it was in the 1st game, why isn’t it here??) 2.) A replay level option at the end of the levels. And 3.) A go directly to next level button (again, like in the 1st game).

It’s ok. Could use some improvements, like an editor and a larger amount of levels. Definitely doesn’t have the charm like the original Bike Baron.

Graphics are too cluttered, play is too fast, controls are too sensitive. Overall, this has lost a lot of the nuanced simplicity that made the first BB great. I’d much rather the devs create new levels for BB1 than spend any more time on this inferior version. Speaking of the devs, where is Mountain Sheep?

Firstly, I *loved* BB1… one of the best iOS games ever developed (IMO). I’ve been watching Mountain Sheep for several years — looking for a successor, and/or something new. Sadly, though it’s nice to continue the BB legacy, I’m torn with this one. The controller support doesn’t feel native — menu navigation doesn’t respond at times (though it could be performance related?) and you cannot hide the on-screen controller display — and most-of-all I can’t seem to find the level editor. And to be clear, if this feature is absent, I think the team should really consider adding it back in. By no means is this a waste, for the price, but it’s somewhat of a disappointment (for now at least). I’ll eagerly change my review if/when these features find love. Mountain Sheep: This would’ve made a great Apple Arcade title — and MP (~Excite Bike style) would solidify you a triple-a title in their market. Maybe a “Super/Uber Bike Baron” follow-up?! ;)
