The Blackmagic Camera Control app allows you to control any Blackmagic Design camera that features Bluetooth control capability, right from your iPad!
Get full control of your camera from up to 30 feet away, so you can remotely change camera settings, control the lens, adjust metadata and trigger recording. On URSA Mini Pro cameras you can also remotely power the camera on or off. Blackmagic Camera Control is ideal when you need to control cameras in hard to reach places such as on cranes, drones, gimbals and more! It’s also a great solution for camera assistants who need to quickly update metadata such as shot, scene and take numbers.
Blackmagic Camera Control requires a Bluetooth enabled camera such as Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera, Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro or URSA Broadcast camera. Please ensure your camera has been updated to the latest Blackmagic Cameras software.

For all the money spent black magic you could at least update your only software to work with the current firmware.

Limited, but still useful app…

Love that the iPad app recognizes the external drive on my BMPCC 4k. Wish the same the same was available for the iPhone.

Not working with bmpcc4k 7.9 update

App doesn’t work with current BMPCC 4K 7.9 update. Constantly says connecting but never does.

So incredibly limited

I am blown away that this app is so incredibly limited. How can this be the official black magic app and you can basically only change just a couple of settings? Come on black magic. You should be able to control every setting on the camera through this app

Most functions not working

After connecting with K4 camera, only the Iris works, but nothing else.

No iPhone

Makes absolutely no sense why this is a ipad only app. Would be much more useful on an iPhone.

Handy app but...

Handy app, but my iPad is used to control the stream audio from our SQ7. Would be very helpful if this app ran on iPhone
