Block Spam Texts | Dont Text

Since downloading 2 weeks ago, all my annoying daily political txt msgs and money lending msgs have stopped. What a great app. So glad I found you.

I was deleting 30 messages a day, asking them to stop made it worse. I loaded this app yesterday and today I got 2 to add to the list with different stop instructions, after I installed it I was able to see a list of recently deleted messages including the ones I deleted. One number sent 11 messages on one day. when I thought, how many days to election day and will they stop sending messages after the election? No the day after the election I got my first request it never stops. I am so relieved to have this app. Thank you.

Don’t Text eliminate 99% of the spam text immediately after installing it, I added a few keywords for the few that got by, and now my phone is peaceful. Note: I have the paid subscription

I added several key words and still get spam texts with those key words.

The app does it jobs. I wish you could use wildcard characters to filter more aggressive text spam. Other than that, I totally recommend it.

I was so excited to find this app and made a huge list of keywords that should work to block the spam political texts that I have been overwhelmed by in the last year or so. (no idea who got me on some list but it’s out of control.) However, what it doesn’t say in the description —and you don’t learn until you explore “why isn’t it working?“— Is that it will only work on SMS not iMessage. Apparently, most of the spam texts I’m getting ARE iMessage so it doesn’t work at all. I gave three stars because the developer is nice and actually takes feedback on his website. I want him to know that if he actually invented a way that this app worked on iMessage not just SMS, I would pay really good money for that. Seriously. Apple doesn’t do anything but sort them into an unknown list but you still see them in your badges and you have to delete eventually or it shows in the badge count. I have asked Apple to at least have “unknown senders” not showing the badge count but what they really should do is implement what this developer is doing …except for iMessage. You should be able to list words and have those texts obliterated into infinity and never see them. This developer has the right idea, and again, if this app is ever updated to effectively Block iMessage keywords you identify, I will very happily pay an annual fee.

This is one of the best and most useful apps I’ve ever had. For the total price of free, it sends all texts that match certain words into a junk folder, without, and I repeat without, notifying me. Exactly what I want! Thank you so much!

I can’t believe how cheap and easy it was to get spam protection. I am so grateful that this is my first review ever. I had a major problem with getting spam texts. I easily got several hundreds a week in multiple apps including SMS messages, What app, signal, and telegram. The spam was mostly 234 numbers and email addresses that with one purchase of this app everything is back to normal. For 5 DOLLARS A YEAR. The competition cost significantly more sometimes monthly. I can’t thank the devs enough

After I paid for this app, I got a warning that any text sent to me, like from my bank, would be seen, logged, and kept by the applications company. This is simply outrageous. I’m deleting the app and asking for my money back. I don’t want anything tracking two-step verification codes. This information should be stated upfront before you buy or use the free version.
