I have all kinds of technology to measure my heart rate. Bought this app because it says monitors blood pressure. All it does is your heart rate. What a ripoff.
It does what it says it does and no more. Just glancing at the screenshots you may think it does a bunch of health things, but it doesn’t. It measures your pulse with the phone’s camera and allows you to tell it what your BP is. It will also sync to the health app. But let’s be real, you don’t need this if you own an Apple Watch. I took off only one star because asking (or railroading) the user into paying $9.99 (US store) to sync to HealthKit is nonsense. I could see $2-3 but nearly $10 to sync data, of which I manually enter half of the stats anyway…
Why do apps think it is ok to charge to take a heart rate? It should be a basic right. I understand charging to track, or give health tips but charging just to take a heart rate is foul. I have found an app called InPulse that does it for free. There are a few pop ups when you log in, but at least you do not pay for something that should be standard.
