Eager for a Resolution to Launch Issues
I recently acquired "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" with high expectations, enticed by its promising design and the prospect of an immersive Metroidvania adventure on iOS. However, my excitement quickly waned as I encountered a persistent issue preventing me from even launching the game. Since its purchase on April, 2024. I have been unable to progress beyond the NetEase Games logo, as the game consistently crashes to the Home Screen. Despite my diligent efforts to seek assistance from customer support on April 10th, 2024, my inquiries have gone unanswered. As a seasoned user of the App Store, this lack of response and resolution is deeply disappointing. The absence of acknowledgment or effort to rectify this glaring flaw reflects poorly on the developer's commitment to customer satisfaction. I had hoped to join the ranks of satisfied players enjoying this acclaimed title, but instead, I find myself unable to even experience it. It is disheartening to encounter such a significant obstacle in accessing a game that held such promise. In writing this review, I aim not to disparage but to convey my sincere disappointment and frustration. I urge the developer to prioritize resolving this issue promptly, either through a comprehensive update or by providing adequate support to affected users. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" on iOS to others, as my own experience has been marred by technical shortcomings and a lack of support.
