Just made E-5 as an ABH. Quotas were low but at least 30 or 40 questions on this app was on the exam. This helped tremendously. Of course you have to study the bibs. But combining both will guarantee a high score. Best of luck to all in March.

This app in conjunction with their website it’s an awesome tool to help you prepare for your next advancement exam. Daily quizzes and having your BIBs breakdown in the topics and subtopics it’s really beneficial. I have use it for a while and ultimately it’s up to you to decide how much you want to put out in your studies but you can’t go wrong using Bluejacketer. I made HM1 in this past cycle (264) and I can say it definitely helps.

The information is decent. Not great. My issue is that the card I used to pay for the subscription was stolen. I got a new card from the bank, no real harm done. Then Kaplan was somehow able to charge my card even though it was cancelled. I asked for a refund as I did not authorize a charge from that card but was denied. So I will not use this service any more nor will I recommend it.

The Customer Support Team was helped me with updating my profile due to not logging in for quite some time. The Team is extremely helpful and friendly. Looking forward to utilizing the study app and getting advanced to the next.

I would suggest Blue Jacketeer as a study tool. I made board twice after utilizing the App. The offline feature is great for anyone underway.

Can log in on a computer fine but trying to log in on the app is terrible it doesn’t do anything but ask if you want to change your rating exam

I’m grateful to the developers for making studying for advancement a lot more accessible, this led to making AM2 on the first try despite low quotas. Fast forward to this year, I’m shooting a second shot for AM1. Having access to the study material across all my devices is important, but encounters with stuff not being able to load is frequent. Clicking on quizzes to review is impossible, so is doing daily 20s. What about practice exams? Yeah, you’re not doing that on iOS for sure. The app is unusable at its current state. Good luck with the using the site on desktop too, it works more often but it can also not want to load certain elements of the service.

For someone who has taken the exam 5 times, NONE and I mean absolutely NONE of the practice questions, or even the practice exam for that matter, does not relate to any of the questions on the exam, my monthly subscription feels like a waste of time and money. I kept putting off leaving this review, in the off chance that they would update their study materials, but nothing has changed. ☹️

I made HM3 and HM1 with this apps help. High 70s for both exams. Do yourself a favor and download this ASAP. I will never not recommend to peers and juniors for as long as it exists. The team behind this really took it seriously and aside from reading the instructions (which they highlight most already), this should be in every Sailors toolbox.
