This app is simple and straight forward and allows you to create Groups, and items within groups and then easily move those items between groups in a very "Kanban" style. While I appreciate the simplicity of the application I do wish that for the cost, it would include some additional features which I would consider "basic" to this type of application. The number one feature I would like to see added is the ability to create dependences between items. Example, you can not paint your house without first purchasing the needed supplies (paint, brushed, masking tape, painters tarp, etc.). The second feature I would like to see added is the ability to control the exact placement of the groups on the page and to have some level of control over sizing.
I was looking for an electronic equivalent of the myriad of post-its and lists littering my desk and this was it! The boards are clear and allow you to see many tasks at a glance to keep your thoughts and projects organized. It's simple and clean, no need for distracting bells and whistles. Just exactly what I needed.
I love this app. So simple, basic, well designed and useful. I tried all the kanban board apps and many many many to do and project management apps. This is by far my favorite
This app is amazing! I feel this is the start of a killer App. The App needs a left side panel for two key integrations: a. “new features and upgrades” and b. for the “collection and organization of projects and then later programs”. Each Project Board needs “swim lanes” and then it is a gold master wrap on this versions “MVP: core feature set.” Upgrades: personal “core features”, teams, and then PMO. I can see the potential here in this app in it scaling the ranks up to and into PMP field use! Please integrate “swim lanes” for multilayered projects, collaboration integration ( for teams and feedback with developer ), and “program” management. This app is so a game changer and a killer app! I can see this app’s potential and then some, maybe I should just contact the developer… - Please buy this App, support its development!
Thank you for this App!
I work in an environment where we can’t use cloud services for info sec reasons. This app was the perfect way for me to maintain my personal Kanban workflow while using local files for storage to comply with our IT policy. The bonus is that if you are allowed to sync with iCloud, the boards can be stored in your iCloud Drive which seamlessly syncs them across your iPhone, iPad, and the Mac desktop app. Perfect! It has just the right amount of features with lists, cards, details, etc. to fit my workflow without feeling like things are missing. It also doesn’t feel like it has so too many features that make it confusing or hard to use on a daily basis, so it strikes that balance really well. I had a small issue getting my lifetime subscription activated on my iDevices (already purchased on the Mac) but the developer helped me out personally via email and everything is working perfectly now. Thank you!
I am glad there is now an iPhone and iPad version, and iCloud sync, but you caanot create and hide subtasks, no check box next to tasks, no real attachments (you can drafg and drop PDF or image and they show up on the card but that is it, if you click they do not open) and so on. You also have to save before you quit. After you quit, if you launch the app (on the Mac), instead of seeing your project/board like with any other app, you get the finder. Of course you can also (after launching the app) choose File, then Open Recent, then choose your project to opne. I guess it may be ok for light use.
This is incredibly basic and I can do more with free versions.. I want my money back
(Rico's response to "Fuss Free" re access to menu bar is a genius addition. Made me giddy with joy.) I have major projects happening. The Hit List stopped working. Curio stopped working (No, I will not do a subscription. Things is too clumsy for what I want. Apple notes kinda worked but I need more visual and better organization features. This app is perfect. It lets me see the areas, the detailed items and ability to add websites for reference. Everything in one place.
