Boatsetter - Boat Rentals

I was surprised to see the state of Ohio with so many boats listed for rent on your app. Keep up the good work!

Very good boat

I booked a 2 hour boat trip through this app and confirmed in advance with the captain as per the instructions, and even Boatsetter called me to confirm, but they day I arrived with 30 guests, some of which flew in from out of town, no staff was at the boat. I called many times to find out that the owner had missed our booking and apologized but said there was nothing they could do. The captain finally emerged from the boat and the owner kindly let us board the boat at the dock for about 45 minutes so we could take some photos at the dock, then we were ushered off because they had another booking. In the end the captain refunded me half the cost through Boatsetter which is completely unacceptable for what I received. The whole experience was incredibly unprofessional, unfair, and disappointing.

Unfortunately we got notified that our boat could only go 10 mph THE MORNING OF, because of some code that was popping up. We came from out of town and of course already paid for it so we still decided to go, but we paid so much money for it to go so slow and not get to see emerald cove or the other cove as well

We had the most incredible time on Lake Tahoe thanks to Boatsetter and our amazing captain, Dylan. The boat was in great condition, and Dylan made the experience unforgettable with his professionalism and friendly personality. He knew the best spots on the lake, and we felt completely at ease the entire trip. From breathtaking views to relaxing on the water, this was easily one of the best experiences we’ve had. We highly recommend Boatsetter and especially Captain Dylan for anyone looking for an unforgettable day on the lake!

App used to work great. Now it’s sending you to the website when looking for a boat, which removes the reason for the app. Please fix.

I am happy I chose this boat. It’s nicely done. The seating and furniture are in great condition. Orlando was very friendly and professional. I will reserve it again.

Rental that had been booked a month in advanced was canceled <48hrs prior to use. Customer service recommended two alternative rentals, that, even with an additional 10% off, would have cost an additional $500 more. Will not use this platform any further based upon this experience. Updating to state: Customer service offered an additional 15% off to lower the overall increase in cost which was a win/win in my mind. Appreciate the support from customer service!

Close to a week after our boating experience, after the trip was closed- we were slapped with an addition $750 - one for gas and one for $500 damage fee. The damage was due to some food residue on boat floor.
