Bonsai Album

Would be a whole lot better if you could easily transfer albums between devices, but a great app all the same.

I'm new to bonsai and needed a way to record my trees and their progress. Bonsai Album does just that, easily. Drop down menus display the Latin species when you type in the common name which is a bonus. Add as many photos as needed to record each tree's progress. Easily replicate the whole database from Mac to iOS wirelessly. Bonsai Album is what everyone one needs to keep track of your collection.

It really works! iPhone, iPad and backup to PC. Easy to use and logically arranged. Full and well laid out printing of database from the bonsai report on the PC. For what this app does it is great value, have it on my iPhone and iPad with manual backup and restore to each. Hopefully Andrew will have sync facility in a future version. Storing pots, trees and keeping a log with reminders are very easy and intuitive. Very pleased I got the app.

Great app for logging your trees etc, may be an idea to have the ability to create yearly records and yearly photo records of the trees too? Also perhaps a share on social network button and contact developer button? I can think of many ideas but it's 3:15am and I've uploaded 16 of my trees without a hitch and need sleep, any bonsai collectors you need this app!! 5 stars all the way Updates over the years too which is appreciated thank you!!!

Handy but can't seem to transfer info to other devices

I have this loaded on my iPad & iPhone. It's a great app but it could be improved by having both appliances talking to each other and loading the same information on both. At the moment you put it on the phone, transfer info to the pad but it's then gone from the phone!

I've been using this to keep track of a smallish bonsai collection for over a year now. The interface is simple and straightforward allowing to manage trees quite easily. You can also track your pots and log events against your bonsai. Many photos can be added to your bonsai over time and they can be in or out of collection (for the sad times when bonsai go under). Developer is very responsive and keen to improve the app as well, hats off to him. Thanks!

application is good but pictures added are limited at only two. so, if you want to have pictures of your bonsai in evolution in time, is impossible
