I have the paid version. There's no preamp for the equalizer and no mixed mode for playback - both commonplace in other apps like evermusic etc.

useless, pay for lifetime and every time I lock my phone my music stops playing, I have to open my screen to continue listening to my music, what a frustration.

Not worth the money in my view.
I am very disappointed in this product, considering how much I’ve enjoyed other Boom products. There is very little improvement in the base, and definitely no increase in sound. My iPad is only a year old or I would think that’s the problem. I have Boom 2 and Boom 3D which are great. I won’t be renewing the subscription.
Spotify support removed?
Was pretty good when I used it before but coming back to the app now there’s no Spotify login

I changed some settings on my computer and the boom is booming one of the best purchases I ever made
Hardly works with ANY streaming service (2024)!
Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal... Will not work with any of the major streaming services! They don't point out that critical limitation before you buy it for iOS. Only works for stuff like locally stored MP3. Total waste of money. Pretty much a scam in many ways due to the way they advertise it for iOS devices.
