Why did you get rid of the creepy category? Rubbish.

The app was quite good a few years ago. Though it has just progressively gotten worse with more and more ads being added. Now there are ads everywhere to a point where it lags the app and makes it really difficult to access the content. For example you try to scroll and it automatically clicks into ads and then there are constant video ads playing that forces you to exit the app. The last time I used the app, the articles weren’t even loading properly.

I had started to put up with having to watch long ads every so often between posts but now ads are in the middle of the posts and they have been made that you will ALWAYS click on the ad if you try scrolling normally. Nope. Done.

Once an add opens you can’t escape, you have to close the app. Really dodgy

This app used to be good with good content. Unfortunately, it has been going downhill and the latest update was the straw that broke the camel's back. I opened the app, didn't even click on an article to have a full screen pop up advert. There is already ads peppered between the content. Instead of fixing other issues, this was the outcome of the latest update. No thank you.

Still has some good content, but is ruined by annoying issues. Issues: - Full-screen pop up ads with sound, added in an update. - Shows an error and won’t load on slower networks, even when other apps load fine. - Sideways swipe should have an option to disable, as I often accidentally jump to different posts when trying to scroll down.

Use to be great , now offensive full screen ads that seemingly you can’t skip. Awful

Ads are making it hard to use, let alone enjoy. There isn’t even a paid version to remove the ads. AND the items are now often duplicated in a list. Put it back the way it was please!!!

Bored Panda has been my safe space for several years. A structured easy giggle when reddit is too chaotic and Facebook is too triggering. And now I’ve updated for “bug fixes” and I’m getting ads between the images (bearable) and mandatory noisy video ads (not bearable and deeply unwelcome given my remote location means the threads struggle to load even WITHOUT ads.) All very well to try to make more revenue, but not much good if you drive all you’re users away.

This app was my daily go to. Now full screen unskippable ads take over my screen. It’s so bad I deleted the app. Website is now way better.
