Bosch EasyControl

App not working for probably thousands of users on Christmas Day. Likely because they wanted to put a holly icon on the thermostat. Embarrassing. App also went down on the 31st Dec and 3rd Jan. Shocking service and not response from Bosch. When will they do something about this.

This app is adequate at best. Loses connection on a regular basis. All a bit useless. Recommend purchasing a different system

Not good enough really. constant ‘maintenance’ connectivity and connection issues. poor. will be pulling it out soon and going back to a good old manual controller. or may try a hive first .

We have had this app for several years now. It used to be great but recently it just keeps dropping out and won’t load. Then suddenly it loads again. So annoying!

Hi - had an Easy Control hooked up to my ‘top of the range’ Worcester boiler since new - installed by a Worcester specialist - the app is a disgrace and over the 4 or so years I’ve been using it it’s had consistent failures - multiple re downloads of the app - multiple re-installing passwords works for a week or 2 then falls apart and then the same cycle starts again - look at all the other one star reviews here and take your money and avoid Worcester - same problems for 4 years - maybe our next stop should be taking Worcester to court - the many thousands of us that bought this garbage that feel we’ve been robbed - anyone interested? - £4k worth of utter rubbish that constantly fails - Ombudsman here I come

Bosch download of festive holly overnight Christmas Eve caused IoS app to lose front screen functionally. Not ideal when we have many Bosch trv’s that are switched manually at the front screen when we want heat in any room without a discrete heating schedule. Pretty crappy own goal by Bosch, IoS customer base less than impressed across Europe 🎄🎅🏻☹️👎

Unfortunately this has got to be the worse app I’ve ever used, always crashes, so we have to do it manually, if it doesn’t crash it logs you out so logging back in every day

Consistently down

App works well when it’s not under frequent maintenance or when it goes down for 24 hours on Christmas Day!!! The instructions are barely adequate. I have learned most of how to set it up and use it from a Facebook Group. The app is very unreliable. Bosch need to get a grip of this product. They ought to be ashamed.

I have to be honest, this is a fantastic piece of equipment when it works. The problem is I’m now 2 days without it working over Xmas, I’ve had to reboot twice since it’s install 4 months ago. The batteries last about a month if you’re lucky, it’s becoming a bit of a frustration. Not very smart for a smart thermostat.
