BOSS Tuner

It did work for a while but recently it was saying the C was perfectly in tune but it sounded wrong to me. Turns out it was actually a C sharp.

Correctly Tuned guitar shows ADGCEA - confused the heck out of me when trying to tune a ukelele until I worked out tuner was showing the wrong note. Can’t see anything in settings Boss stuff normally great - maybe old phone?

Works well, though the tuning fork icon, settings icon and news icon with it’s bright red circle overlap the cool looking pedal and spoil the look somewhat.

Nice to have the Boss running pedal in App form. Wish there was the ability to change the note of the tuning fork. Also, even though pressing the “Mode” and “Stream/Cent” buttons appear to visually register a movement action of being clicked/depressed, they nevertheless do anything which is a terrible shame. If the notifications icon could be moved within the Setting, then could be very desirable to access them within the settings cog rather than spoil the whole look of a classic pedal as it’s very distracting. Thanks for making it free Boss.

The fact this app is free and not trying to jam a subscription fee down my throat is fantastic. It’s super accurate and fast. What more do you need?

This is crap one star

Some early classical music was not tuned to A440 and some purists play it accordingly. I find the Boss tuner nimble enough to indicate whether a recording is to modern pitch or some other. Sometimes the tuner vanishes from my iPhoneX. Probably Apple mischief!

Was looking for a tuner to use when unplugged and was thinking about a clip on. Then thought I would try this. It works great and I love the Waza craft skin. It is just what you expect from Boss, you know it will do what it should. Love it.

Why is this not more highly rated?!

Im trying to learn the ukulele but the app isn’t giving me the c chord and the chords it needs to me tuned to are G C E A
