Fun game that is easy to follow along and actually is engaging to play
It’s a nice game
This game is similar to Slay The Spire however I enjoy this more due to the fact that you can change up your starting deck.
This game surprised me with just how high quality it is. On the surface, it looks like a Slay the Spire clone. Given that it was highly rated and free to play, I expected an entertaining, but shallow, experience. First, I noticed the entirely reasonable monetization structure. The shop is a small, single button on the main page. There are no regular popups advertising its presence. There are no limited time deals. It’s just a small set of purchases for game resources, plus a scaling offer chain that adds permanent +% resource gains to your gameplay. This last option starts out small, and is great for balancing out your own preferred pacing while supporting the developers in a rewarding way. Also, no ads. Ever. Then there’s the gameplay. I’m not fully up to date on the roguelite deck builders out there, so maybe everything here has been done before and I’ve missed it. But there are a number of features new to me that significantly improve the experience. Soft limits on certain aspects like card draw seem to cut out the usual “going infinite” strategies while still allowing space for rewarding synergies. The ability to craft your own reward pool is fascinating, yet it doesn’t overshadow the “quickplay” option of playing with an unrestricted pool for greater rewards. With all the different play options and strategies, this game promises a lot of replay value. If I had one criticism, the enemy design so far seems a little plain. I’m still early in the game, but so far I haven’t had to change up my strategy much depending on which opponents I’m facing. Hopefully that’s just a symptom of the early levels, and battles will become more dynamic as I delve deeper. Overall: Currently my favorite FTP title on mobile, and I expect it will hold that spot for quite some time.
It’s too late at night, but I started playing this game and now I can’t stop. It’s too good. Why would you do this to me? …please don’t stop though. Is there a support group?
So far, I’ve played two times through and I am enjoying it a lot. I wish I could see the option descriptions when at the camping node. Similar enough to StS that I easily understand it, and different enough to not get deck building fatigue.
Easier
I am not one to write reviews or even play mobile games lol. Yet this game I found from a YouTube channel and have loved every second of it since.
I’m a card game snob. But so far this one is pretty decent.
So far this game is great i like it a lot
