Breakout: Craft & Escape

A prison crafting game combines survival mechanics with strategic resource management, immersing players in the unique setting of a high-security prison. As an inmate, the player’s goal is to navigate daily life while crafting tools, weapons, and other resources necessary for survival, escape, or dominance within the prison system.
Players must scavenge for materials from their environment, either by bartering with other prisoners or covertly gathering supplies from various prison areas, including the workshops, kitchens, and yards. Crafting is central to the gameplay, enabling players to create a wide range of items like lockpicks, shovels, makeshift weapons, and even complex devices for escape attempts.
The game features a dynamic prison environment with guards, patrol schedules, and routine checks, requiring players to plan their actions carefully to avoid detection. Relationships with other prisoners play a key role, as alliances can be formed or rivalries ignited, affecting your chances of success. Players can also take on jobs within the prison to earn currency, which can be traded for contraband or materials needed for crafting.
