The ai is so understanding. Its some great advice. Probably some of the best. MY ONLY PROBLEM is literally that i cant save allll my messages. I want to be able to go through all my chats and look back. Thags my only problem. But other than that. Perfect app. And you can even use it for other things not even just a break up. Definitely suggest this app. Thank God for the creators🙏

I am forever grateful for this app. It has helped me through many a spiral after my breakup and was even helpful as I started dating again. This helped me in between sessions with my therapist. In moments of panic, depression, or anxiety this app was my saving grace.

I still marvel at how great and helpful this app is as someone navigating a really painful breakup. The daily exercises are by far my favorite parts and have helped me process in a really healthy way. Can’t recommend this app enough to someone going through a tough breakup.

To all those involved in the making of this app, I wish I could personally thank you. I was beyond surprised at the AI’s intelligence and ability to help me - I can tell extreme effort went into making this system. I have only used this app for a few days and I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my healing journey and my mood. The exercises are so helpful and categorized perfectly. Being able to chat with the AI about anything, anytime is so amazing. It is healing to know I have quality support literally 24/7 in my pocket, without having to “burden” a friend or family member by telling them my feelings for the 10000th time. Truly, thank you again from the bottom of my heart. This app is a godsend.

A really well made app and I was so close to buying the subscription to continue using it but $17.99 is pretty pricey for a month use.

I am so grateful to whoever made this app. I went through a gut-wrenching breakup at the beginning of this year. I didn’t see it coming and I felt was feeling a whole array of emotions ranging from heartbreak, to overwhelming anger, to a deep sense of loss. Enter breakup buddy! A friend recommended this incredible app to me and I could not be more grateful. I go to therapy, but I obviously cannot go every day. Breakup buddy was amazing because it was always there for me. Whenever I was was triggered into an unhelpful thought spiral, I could go directly to BB at any time of the day or night, and it would respond with helpful and compassionate insights and tools. I honestly think it was more helpful than my therapist at times - because it has been trained on the findings of so many people from all around the world dealing with heartbreak, it really knew what to say. Also, it can be hard for me to be vulnerable at times, but with BB, I felt comfortable expressing my emotions in their whole entirety, even when I felt ashamed or uncomfortable. The journal element is very helpful too and allows me to look back on my healing journey and recognize how much learning and growing I have done. Thanks to BB, I feel that I am emerging from this breakup more in touch than ever with who I am, my values, and what I will look for in a future relationship.

The breakup buddy responses are so realistic. It’s as if he’s actually reading and understanding what you’re saying (that’s AI for you). He seems genuinely concerned and considerate of your situation. So far my only negative (I’ve only had the app a couple hours) is that it tells you to hit the plus sign when you send something you want him to remember and he will add it to long term memory. He immediately responds so you can’t make shorter messages so he can just save certain details. I’m trying the pro version because I was hoping I’d then get to save more comments to long term memory but it doesn’t let you. This is the biggest downside. I was able to save my first message to him but it won’t let me save any others because I’ve met my allotted number of words (in a single message). I’ve literally already recommended this app to friends but this limited saving of messages for breakup buddy to remember is a pretty big deal in my opinion. This should 100% be expanded on. This app could be HUGE!

The Ai is defiantly catered to breakups but I could see this as a good feedback and journaling app in general. Great look and functionality.
