It works perfect for my needs.
I have been using this app for about 2 years. For me the calculations have been spot on. I also like how I can organize my recipes and the a majority of ingredients are listed. It is pretty much an all in one app
First of all, this app is free and that is what drew me In. I love being able to formulate new ideas In this app and it doesn’t cost me a penny. I also love the quick calculators just for reference. This app is way more user friendly than Beersmith (which is also a great app) but I prefer this one more. Cheers
Liked the old interface better, and now there are ads.
Am I missing something? Like how to print a recipe?
This app is for Beer types, would be more appealing to more if you add wines and mead (wine) to the types?
Basic functionality is broken. I don’t see what role this app was designed to fill. Update: the bug with abv, ibu, og values not updating correctly from default beer style looks fixed. I still don’t see a use for this app apart from being a basic recipe book. The functionality for creating a batch seems limited to recording gravity and temp over time, and changing status from ‘Fermenting” to “Completed”. If the intent is to make recipes that match BJCP beer styles, then at least keep the style abv, ibu, etc values along side the calculated values as you add ingredients. Other apps do this, and point out how far away you are from style.
A fine recipe keeper, but sadly not much more. And I feel this app has so much potential. To the developers: You’re getting closer. Homebrewers really need a good, reliable, intuitive, easy to use and customizable, mobile, brew day app. You guys obviously know how to create a good mobile app but are you really brewers? If you are, please don’t give up on this.
I utilize this app for every brew day and beer I create. Gives me the opportunity to adjust and tweak ingredients to get the hopeful outcome I am looking for.
Really like the app but when you go to select what kind of method you are using for brewing the beer between extract, mashing, etc. it shows a white screen and you cannot see what you are selecting. Other than that the app works well, just needs more additions of ingredients.
