Brick Search: The LEGO set app

Got this app when it was free for the code scanner. Now it needs a subscription to get unlimited scans. No idea why this app that is apparently paid now also needs a subscription as well. Just use the one from jay’s brick blog it’s free.

Bought the premium to scan minifigs, as looked like you could search through sets and scan minfigs and sets, turns out it’s just the cmf boxes that work for it. As well pretty outdated inventory. BrickScan is the one to go to, actually has a ‘minfig scanner, label it as minfig cmf scanner or box scanner.

The design and system are good, but the list of Lego sets is very minimal. For example, it says there are only 4 Lego architecture sets, despite the number being over 30. Overall I like the aesthetic but it’s wasted on this app

I downloaded the app to help Find certain lego minis. I paid the $2.99 downloading fee which was bad enough. Then it wanted me to pay $2.99 a month to use it. Found a free app and found the minis. I do not recommend this app

App works well and was very useful when it was free. Now you gotta subscribe to use. If you wanted money so bad just put adverts on the app or something. Theres other free scan apps out there fortunately.

Forcing you to pay to continue using it, what a scam.

Seems to not work the way it should, we are based in Australia & think it might be a UK based app to use the barcode scan/ QR code.

I downloaded this app because I had bricks lost in my house So I downloaded it and I don’t even know what to do know All I see is a bunch of lego sets idk what to do that’s why I downloaded it 🤣🤣

I like true aesthetic of this app - simple, and clean. There’s a button to take you straight to your collection, on the navigation bar. Love that. However the database is not up to date, so it’s kind of pointless if you’re trying to use this as your main app to record your LEGO collection. What a shame. I’ll continue my search for the perfect LEGO collection app :/

The app was working well for a while, but now it seems to not recognise sets released in the last few years - that is, when I enter in the 5-digit set number it says that the set cannot be found. Please check that the app database (or link to the Brickset database) is working properly.
