I understand that keeping and maintaining an app is expensive. However, after the recent update, the app feels nearly useless without paying $58 a year, or $8.75 a month. I feel like the app would be a lot more successful if after every scan by a non-paying user, they get an advertisement. Then also perhaps lower the subscription price. I personally enjoyed my time with this app, however I cannot pay the current amount which is being asked for.

App work Well. Just too Expensive to use. 399 D.kr = 58 USD for one year 😳😳😳

It's amazing how well it can find bricks! Especially printed ones. It is insanely expensive though.

Found my old collection at my parents', been going at it; scanning and assembling everything.

I’ve painstakingly added a collection (>120 figures) that’s now gone…why???

It’s fun to use but the fact that it only gives you 5 scans a day if your using for free it’s not useful if you only get five scans

The app now has a premium subscription, with most features locked behind a paywall. Do not download.

Barely functional. Loses WiFi connection often. Only identifies parts correctly like 50% of the time at best. Definitely NOT worth paying actual $$$, especially since Google Lens and other brickscanning apps are more accurate and FREE. Not to mention the fact that the dev pulled a massive “bait and switch” by offering the app for free for months to let users train his “AI”, then once everyone did enough work for him to make his app functional, he slapped a paywall on it. As far as I’m concerned, it should be illegal to remove core functionality from an app YOU ALREADY OWN. Poor decision, Mr. developer. Such little respect for your user base :(

Never mind I just needed to update but I still hate what you did with it

This app used to be amazing, used it everyday and helped me a lot on not only building minifigures and seeing the price but also to help me with bricks that I didn’t know what the set was from, I would had recommended this app to any Lego enjoyer like myself but unfortunately now there’s an unlimited amount of photos to take. 5 a day photos for 50 dollars a year for stuff that used to be free, I cannot say the amount of hate I have for this app now, every scan app has to have some sort of premium feature that takes features that anyone could use back then but then an update comes and you are no longer able to use that feature unless you give them ✨MONEY✨ As soon as this update has happened I’ve seen a recent change in reviews. Brick monkey if you don’t see these reviews you truly are blinded by greed like the rest of todays mobile apps, For anyone who doesn’t want to pay this absurd amount of money, you can try google lens for free..
