Bristol English Arabic 1 is designed for people who speak Arabic and want to learn English.

The app helps you to learn English from the beginning.
You will hear the sound of easy English words and the sound of the Arabic translation.
You will learn to read the English words and match these words to the corresponding Arabic words. You will also learn how to spell the English words.

The app is free and there are no ads.
You can use the app offline; you do not need an internet connection after the app is installed.
The app is small and does not use a lot of memory space on your phone.

Using the app is fun, you learn by playing games and the points you win are displayed.
There are two types of games.

First matching games;
You match English letters to the closest Arabic letter.
Next, you match short English words to the Arabic words.
The vocabulary has been chosen so that all the letters of the alphabet are gradually introduced.
This game helps you with listening, understanding and reading English.

Secondly there are spelling games;
In the spelling games, you will have a choice of six letters to spell the English word.
You will hear the names of each English letter so that you learn the names of all the letters in the alphabet.
To listen to the word you need to spell, you can click on the microphone and hear the word spoken.

People who speak Arabic often find the sounds of English short vowels (a, e, i, o, u) difficult to hear. To make spelling easier, the spelling games provide the relevant vowels in the early games.

There are sixty games to play.
You can play a game as many times as you need to make sure that you can read, understand each word and know how to spell the new words. It is good to say each English word out loud, to practice speaking English.
