I can’t share my audio tour with my family members.

Money Grab

This is completely useless as a tour guide. The tours require the listener to run around the multilevel building without a proper map just for one item in a gallery. Nothing is clearly marked, and some of the objects you are lead to are not even there. It’s extremely frustrating. I’m demanding my money back.

Needs integrated maps with tour

I downloaded this app to have an audio guided tour of the museum. We paid for the Top 10 tour, but while there were audio descriptions for 10 objects in the museum, I wouldn't really call it a "tour". There was no map to guide us between the objects, just "room 10" or "room 35" and then we had to try and find the objects within those rooms. In a few cases, the described objects were not even located in those rooms (eg. Rosetta Stone was moved into a special exhibit). It would be much better if there was some indication on the map to show where the particular items are, and ideally (as with other audio guides) some color commentary to provide background on the museum or other interesting facts while moving between objects.

Does not work

Even if you pre-download all of the content this does not work in most galleries. Museum employee told us the Wi-Fi is poor throughout the museum. Don’t waste your time and money.

Horrible app

The app took forever to load and constantly malfunctioned. The wifi network dedicated to the app was down. It would be much better if the app allowed you to download the audio clips instead of trying to stream them inside the museum.

Audio cuts out or doesn’t play

We downloaded the top 10 audio track. Sometimes the audio plays but quickly stops playing. Then you can’t hear anything anymore. I have only been able to hear about 10% of the audio content. We are on the museum Wi-Fi. The content is not pre-buffered. The museum is packed today. So maybe on a quiet day, this app might work better.

This had so much potential. It’s a waste of data and time.

The paid tours are just random items it takes you too. No cohesion. Each of the features doesn’t provide any additional information than what is printed there already. Usually it provides less. I was hoping this would expand upon the experience of this museum, but it was very dissatisfying. Also the Musuem has slow wifi and bad cell coverage so things load slowly and then glitch because it doesn’t preload the audio and images before playing.

This is by far the worst app I have ever had the misfortune of downloading, the tours they have not only cost money but when you do buy them they are poorly made and not at all informative or interesting, they sound the like the tour for every boring museum ever! It is waste of time and space on your phone.

Poor audio tour

Very confusing audio your. Many items not currently on display. Disappointed
