Paid for the upgrade, saved tons of waypoints than stopped auto renewal on its own so got that fixed and it deleted all my waypoints even though it says it saves them than they doubled the price.. so I went back to the old ways of doing things.

After paying monthly. They decided if you want a deal you have to pay annually… fine. Then once you pay, you can’t access the pro version. Please fix the app. I have to go buy a map now since I can’t access the pro features.

I couldn’t even evaluate the app because the excessive ads interrupt you - but also the ads reset the map position after every ad so you have to start over. I would be happy to pay for a good app but instead have been annoyed away before I could test anything useful.

Got offered a 7day trial period & 15% off subscription at 3.49$/month, got charged 4.99$ plus taxes and unable to use pro upgrade? Really???🤔

Updated - App now working, no email to our original concern, but something has been updated. We have used the books for years, but wanted to try the app. Paid the $ for a year subscription, worked on our iPad but decided it’ll would be better on iPhone. Now it asks for us to pay for the subscription again every time we login. Sent message through technical support last week, still no answer. We are in the road travelling so this is very frustrating. At this point I want my money back.

Been using the app for a few years and loved it, going on a 10 days/1000 km ATV trip in 2 weeks but version 3 of the app broke the Trips feature and I have to look for an alternative at the last minute. Send an email to BRMB support on Jun 20 about this without any response.

Updated review…. I decided to try this app again after a bigger $ increase on Gaia app plus other issues. I have found it much more seamless and works a lot better. Looking forward to the coming soon CarPlay. Love the updates you’ve made since my first use almost 3 years ago. Only thing I’d love to see is the ability to add different colours to tracks and being able to organize tracks into folders. Already purchased to 3 year plan. Loving the new look and feel. Previous review….I was so looking forward to using this app. Took a bit to figure out how to import gpx files. Only through web app but got it done. But then the kicker. No car play? Now I understand back country it's not necessary but to anyone using it to overland or off road it's important to stream to head unit plus it's convenient to use to get to the location otherwise I need to use multiple apps. A pain. So until they add CarPlay I'll have to give this app a big no! Update.... I do know there are offline maps available which I tried. However driving off-roading having a larger screen to check where you're going is a must. Small phone screen isn't useful if hard to see while driving. Several other apps have that ability and I am currently back to those that use CarPlay. I stand by my claim that for some that no CarPlay is still no good for anyone using it how I use it.

The interface is designed poorly with too many levels deep to access things. Also when moving the map it continually asks if you want to drop a pin, waypoint. Frustrating. The kicker though is their price gouging. They have increased the monthly rate to $10!!!! That’s $120.00 per year plus tax = $135.60 if you go the whole year! That’s simply gouging. Time will tell if enough people are willing to fork that out for this poorly designed OS. I know the company well, have bought their cards for many provinces for my GPS’s, purchased their print products as well and my experience is that they aren’t interested in their customers. You are just a number, and if it isn’t working for you or you have a question - get lost. It’s with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to stop patronizing any of their products being a Canadian company but they clearly have more money than they need and have no incentive to care about their customers.

Difficult to navigate the app. You need a PhD in order to find something. Local knowledge definitely required. not easy for an old man.

I have been using the app for about a year now. Back in the day you were either guessing or going off of a map book. Now it’s so easy to know where you are and it takes all the anxiety out of exploring! It’s absolutely the best thing to have if you want to explore new country. I can’t recommend it more!! Thanks guys job well done!
