I’m doing a diabetes prevention program through my insurance company. This app is cumbersome to use. After looking at the reviews, there has apparently been issues for several years with not being able to scan many items or when they do scan, to nutritional information is completely incorrect. This has not gotten any better with the recent update that occurred with the app. The serving portion hardly ever scans correctly and that throws off the rest of the nutrition information. There are ways to adjust the portions BUT when the original portion information is not correct, it doesn’t matter what portion size you choose, the information will always be incorrect. It makes it very frustrating to log meals and I’m sure a lot of people have given up doing this. Right now, I just log my steps and exercise. I’ve used Chronometer in the past and that is an excellent app. Please take a look at how that app is designed and if you can make the Brook app work like that app, there will a lot less frustrated people.
Love using the Brook plus app, it is easy to use, able to track for personal accountability and set goals and reminders to workout, etc. Being assigned a personal coach helps knowing I can always reach out with questions and get support.
Great program for “healthy” individuals, but due to the fact that I have DIABETES, I do not qualify to use the app!
I do walk a lot and my Fitbit is accurate but the Brook app is way off. It’s frustrating when you have over 12,000 steps or more and it shows on the app around 3,000. I wish they would correct this problem
The app is fairly easy to use however every once in awhile I seem to run into a glitch when I try to enter my foods. It seems that the screen where I normally input my foods is no longer there.
I have been very pleased with this program. Everyone has been so supportive!
Can’t enter nutrition profile for food not in database.
Difficult to use - must have missed the instructions somewhere - still waiting for the scale - can I use my own? - please stop suggesting a walk at 7:30 pm - it’s dark out for gosh sakes! Hard to enter the correct food weight/measurements- again, did I miss something? Did NOOM for 13 months ( successfully I might add!) and it was much easier to navigate - ppointeddisappointed for sure - will keep trying but…
Little hard to changing quarantine and unit of measure
