It magically captures the soul of our good old physical bullet journals. Beautiful, intuitive design makes the digital journal works as your brain works, just as our physical journal did. No distractions. It's always with you (phone and computer), no fear of losing or forgetting. And I no longer have to re-write everything for migration or making collections. Thank you for the amazing app!
“Wow, it does THAT too?” I find myself saying this often with this app. It’s really great. The infinite nesting of lists and tasks. Flexible scheduling for multi scale planning (this week, this month, this year) Photo upload so I can get handwritten notes in. Notes, events and tasks all next to each other on a drag and drop timeline. Intuitive way of dealing with overdue tasks. My jaw hit the floor when it asked me “do you want to mark this completed yesterday or today” what a thoughtful feature! Can’t say enough either about how much I love its sleek and simple design. This takes all my favorite features of ALL the productivity apps I’ve used: Depth of todoist Feature rich nature of TickTick Visual simplicity of Things3 Multi level planning And then combines them with the simplicity and ease of bullet journaling! I always loved bullet journaling but I didn’t like the idea that I could misplace my journal and lose all my planning with it. With this app, I get to keep my journal in the cloud and… so much more. The only extra things I wish it could do: Lock Screen widget, have an option to show and complete habits on the timeline and also make it possible to archive events from the iCloud calendar to clear completed events from view! Someday, maybe natural language processing? Even if these features never come, can’t say enough good things. Works like I want it to right out of the box. perfect for my brain. I’ve tried every single one you can think of. This is the sidekick I’ve been waiting for for the longest time! Purchasing annual and leaving this review to tell you — even throwing down a couple bucks on a week of the app is worth it to try it out. Fantastic stuff
I like the set up of this journal a lot—simple, clean, and having the buckets for days, weeks, months that also show a breakdown of days. The issue is that without filtering the views quickly become overwhelming. For example I have repeating simple daily tasks that end up overcrowding the weekly view, making it hard to focus on what’s important for my overall week. Same with the month. I also would love to be able to drag a task from the week down into a specific day without having to swipe it. If they add filtering (by importance and tags) to each view this will be the perfect app.
Absolutely what I’ve been looking for in the past few years. Saves a tone of time, simple and has a freemium version. The developer is ah-mazing! I would just pay money to support the project. That being said I would like to see one more feature that lets me have atleast 2 journals. One for work and one for personal stuff. PS. The reviews and follow up comments are truly wholesome. I know my suggestion will be looked at so giving a 5 already! Thanks for making this app!
Just downloaded and seems like it's got huge potential. But one thing I can't figure out is how to get back into the timeline view of upcoming tasks. Seems when you first start the app, it shows the timeline view. But as soon as you move to any other view, say a list, there's no way to get back to the timeline view without force quiting the app and relaunching it. Perhaps a bug? All it really needs is a timeline button in the side menu.
Love the minimalist look, simple & easy to use. The only issue is the widget! It shows tomorrow’s tasks when it should be day of, and it doesn’t show any tasks when I select “week”, “month” or “year”. Please fix! Thank you!
This app embodies the principles of bullet journaling. It’s clean and minimal. It’s not only useful for day to day management but also to develop and track personal goals. I love it and Hamish (developer) is doing and amazing job of completing and tracking enhancements and bug fixes.
Love that you can use it through a web browser. But the lists need to be archived the way that tasks and sub tasks work is a little clumsy.
It’s an amazing app and helps me remember to get things done, but to set a repeating task you have to pay. Thankfully, you get the free version forever and it’s not a free trial. It gets annoying having to set the same tasks every single night before I go to bed though. It’s a great app and I would highly suggest it.
