This app is supposed to make life easier but it just complicates everything. In our apartment building it is used to access the package room. Everything worked fine for a few months but now when Amazon delivers things we don't get a notification code and so our packages get stuck in the delivery room. The support team for this app Has not been helpful in resolving this issue and it has been ongoing for at least a month now. Putting this review here as an honest review and hopefully they will fix the issue soon because we have no leverage on this issue.

The new update has seriously slowed down the app it keeps closing and not responding to anyone trying to call or open!

“We will not show you this message again.”, but this apparently means ‘until we want to show it to you again.’ As I’ve said in a previous review, if Butterfly is showing me ANYTHING other than the toggle that will open my door, demanding that I attend to the app instead of attending to getting in off the street, Butterfly is jeopardizing my safety. I’m stuck with this “security system”. My advice to anyone reading this - stick with keys!

If there was access to every door through the app would be wonderful. Also, if there was cameras that could be installed throughout the property.

My building switched to this system, and never in a million years will I understand why there isn’t a tap-to-open function. Instead, I have to unlock my phone, find the app, open it and then find the door I want (hopefully your management labels the doors in a way that makes sense!) and then swipe in the app to open the door. I have the option of paying for a new key fob, but when the technology exists, why doesn’t the app allow me to add a widget to my Apple wallet and tap my phone on a fob reader to open a door? Huge missed opportunity.

I would give this 5 stars for the convenience but ever since the last update i can’t get into my building. I have to use the screen on the wall to have my girl buzz me in and hope she’s not busy at work. Really aggravating. Also, the pin has never worked so I’m forced to use a phone app that isn’t working. Though i believe that to be my apartment complex’s fault. Who knows

Used to love this app but recently the ability to open the door via Siri/Shortcuts produces an error code quite often, plus using the Home Screen Widget often gives "failed. Use PIN instead."

Very good

They won’t even let you register through a web browser. As a resident, you are forced to download their obnoxious app just to get access to your own building. Now they get to live in your pocket and know exactly when you come and go. Can’t wait for the power to go out and be completely locked out of the building because some genius decided we needed apps and touch screens just to open the door.

Love this app for its ease of use. However, in the “available apps” in my watch app, this app will not install. I know nothing is wrong with my phone or watch because I was able to install Spotifyand one other app and tried to install this one right after but it wouldn’t complete the circle! It just gives up and doesn’t install!
