Calarm

This paid app never worked. I downloaded without looking deeper. 5 stars out of 4 reviews! I would not recommend .

I’m a student with a hectic timetable. My alarm times aren’t uniform week to week. Thanks to this app I no longer have to work out and set an alarm every evening. However I haven’t yet worked out a way to set an alarm to wake me up for my first lecture in the evening that won’t go off every day at the set time. It would be great if there was an alarm that recognised the first event of the day and went off even if it was past midday.

Don't bother with this load of old rubbish, all I wanted was a sort of Filofax which would alert me for upcoming appointments, after less than five minutes I binned this, I wouldn't have it if was free let alone 79p

Good alarm once you overcome the insertions

The app reads your calendar and automatically wakes you up with an alarm at a predetermined number of hours before. The developer is very responsive to issues and open to enhancement suggestions which appear in the next version.

The app only seemed to see calendar appointment that where a couple of days ahead, I put an appointment in four weeks ahead and the app refused to see it!

Brilliant app. Just what I was looking for. Automatically sets alarms from Calendar. My memory is not s good as it was but Calarm takes care of this (as long as I remember to put items in calendar!) Had some minor problems at first that I would not have had if I had read instructions. Did not realise that only alarms for the current week are shown on the app. This is not a problem as they are continuously updated on a rolling basis. Excellent app support.

Buggy, crashes, doesn't do as intended.

Calarm Sound doesn’t last long ENOUGH, & I can’t find a way to extend the sounds.

The difference between alarm and alert is that alerts play for a while and then stop, whereas alarm keeps going until you stop it. This app offers alerts, not alarms, so it's semi-useful.
