Unreliable app
Crashes regularly. Dumping it for Flipboard. Calgary Herald has deteriorated to a 3rd rate rag. So sad..
Herald app review
The news should be in a mobile app format like ny times app. The navigation is tough when the app is like reading a paper on a phone
Navigation needs work
The swiping gesture seems to be poorly implemented. I can’t count the number of times I have swiped up in order to scroll down on a page, only for the app to advance to the next page instead. Frustrating.
Don Braid
His regular front page biased opinions reflect poorly on this newspaper. His ilk push former loyal subscribers to alternative media where objective and accurate reporting exists.
Poor update
Latest version of app does not report correct date of issue, particularly for Monday paper. Previous version was much better.
New format
Basically hate new format! Stale dated news articles, weekend edition poor compared to previous format. New “funnies” page dreadful. Seriously considering cancelling subscription!
Why bother ?
Hard to believe this Newspaper remains in business. Poor communication. Update failures. Non Delivery is their standard.
Hard to read
Very difficult to read e papers - always fiddling with article sizes. Not designed for ease in reading on a small screen. Poor
App Won’t Update
Will not update to V4.11.11 from 4.11.9 no matter what I do. Got the most recent IOS on iPad so what gives? My wife’s iPad updated to 4.11.11 and mine, a newer model, will not update no matter what.
