Cali Move Workouts

Great exercises with excellent explainer videos. It picks progressions that dial difficult up and down for my level of mobility and strength in different areas. Wholly recommend. Sven and Alex are aces.

CaliMove has created another practice with smart progression/regression dependent on personal RIR and RPE input. Looking forward to delving further into their creation/programming!

Work out suggested was too easy and I gave that feedback as I worked out. But then it started to replay the whole session again, and I could not save my progress. So I ended up wasting my time doing an easy workout with no improved program for the next time.

I purchased the mobility subscription (in app) and added a strength sub add-on (in app) but it would not show up in the app. All I could see was the mobility.

11/8 update: app works great now, changing to 5 stars. Everything was going well until my second workout. Once I got to the second set of dips, the screen went blank. I could only pause or skip ahead 10 seconds. Once I skipped ahead 10 seconds, the countdown began to the next exercise, but then the screen went completely blank and I was unable to resume the workout. I quit the app and it brought me back to the start of the work out. Same issue again. Please fix this and I will give five stars! 10/11: Still not fixed after the most recent update.

Really digging this app! I have wanted to get the course for a long time and I’m stoked it’s in an app form though. The interface is great! I love the rating system and how the app won’t let you work outside their program. The only reason this is not a 5 is because there is no Apple Health integration. To me that should be a standard in any health app in the store.

If you believe in voting with your money and supporting reputable businesses, take your patronage elsewhere. Cali Move puts profits over existing customers. TLDR I had been learning from Cali Move's YouTube channel for a while. In February 2024, I purchased their "Mobility" e-book quickly, followed by the "Healthy Habits" e-book. After those I decided to go all-in and purchased the Complete Calisthenics bundle (level 1-5), Mobility 2.0 program, and Nutrition upgrade (Level 1-5). In total an investment of nearly $400. I made slow progress through complete calisthenic level one, hindered significantly by the clunky web platform, lack of ability to customize the schedule (other than try to make adjustments in my head), or record progress. All the while thinking they really needed an app. Needless to say, I quickly fell off the wagon until recently when I received a very unflattering report after my annual physical, and decided to pick up this program again. Lo and behold, when I visit the website, I discover an app is now available! However, after downloading and logging in (my login still works), I find I'm still stuck behind a pay wall! Yes Cali Move, as you commented to another frustrated customer leaving a poor review, "the new Cali Move App is a completely separate product built from scratch with new technology and features. Your old programs stay available on our website exactly as before." However, we paid for the content not the platform, and I'd bet at least 90% of the content is the same. Furthermore, it is your previous customers who, in part, enabled the business to grow so that further development of an app could be possible. Additionally, judging by these initial reviews, your prior customers will be among the first to adopt the new app. Why on earth would you want to alienate these customers instead of incentivizing them to adopt the app? I've had two other experiences where a developer I supported switched to a subscription model. Both showed way more appreciation for their prior customers who made it possible for the business to grow and continue to develop new products. In the first case, I was grandfathered in with a free lifetime membership. It is a great app which I still use today and I've recommended to many others. In the second case, I received a two-year subscription for free, which more than compensated my original investment, and after which I was very happy to continue paying for the subscription because I liked the service.

I’ve already bought several programs and have paid them off, but when downloading the app the first thing it does is ask you to purchase a program before you can do anything else, until this is fixed, this app is completely useless to me.

I’ve loved Cali Move for years but I’ve struggled to stay consistent. Something will happen in my life and it throws me off the program. Now I’ve got the team I love and it adjusts with my life and schedule! Thanks team, great product.
